"Beeeecause," Jessie muttered quietly with a smirk, not wanting to tell her that Selena had chosen him as a boyfriend. "Come on."

Selena smirked. "Since when are you so wise?" she asked jokingly. Her phoen rang, and, of course, it was her mother phoning. (Momma's gonna make sure Jamie knows that Selena is currently dating Jessie... xD Bad mother) She clicked the button to answer, but put it on speakerphone instead, which wasn't too bad either. "Hey Mom." she said. 'Hello sweetie!" her mother replied. "So, Selena, how's your little boyfriend? Jessie, was it?" her mother asked. Selena's smile disappeared. Great, just great. "Umm... Good... Gotta go, bye..." she said, hanging up quick and sliding her phone back in her pocket, slightly afraid of what Jamie's reaction would be.

Ami stood, not moving. "Why?" She asked, not moving unless she was told, and he'd have to think of something good, because she wouldn't be convinced if it was something like 'because I want to' or 'because it's fun'.

Jamie turned away, unable to face Selena any more, unable to look into her eyes, unable to speak, and the only words he ould manage. "Selena...I-" Were those words.

Selena instantly went to her defensive side, but first, muttered something about her mother. "Look, Jamie... I..." she held her breath for a moment, chewing on her lower lip. She released her breath, realizing she had no clue what to say. She lowered her head, shaking it from side to side. "No matter what I do I always manage to screw it up." she muttered to herself, so only she could hear. "Jamie, I..." she tried again, but still could not find words. She moved closer, her face shower a pained look. "Jamie, I.. I love you.." was all she managed in a short whisper, unable to figure out how to explain this.

"Aww come on, for me?" he asked, taking her by the wrist and glancing around, looking for Selena, and probably essie to "You need to spy on Jamie too," he joked with a smirk, and then he spotted them. He walked slowly towards the confused of what was going on. Jessie raised his eyebrows and crossed his arms, looking at them.

"Selena, but if you love me, you'll hurt Jessie." Jamie pleaded, yet he knew all he wanted to say was. "I love you, too." And so he did after a few seconds of silence. "I love you too, Selena, more than anything."

Ami crawled round, spy-like, seeing what was happening. Her eyes widened.

Jessie stared at them in disbelief.

"But... I... I can't hurt him..." Selena said in a quiet voice. "But... I can't hurt you either...." she sighed. "And now I've screwed everything up again." she said in a louder voice, but still quiet. "I don't know what to do, Jamie. This has gone on way too long, and I just managed to convince Jessie that I don't love you. If he finds out any of this... I don't even know what he'll do..." she said quietly, looking around. "We should go somewhere else. Somewhere less public." she suggested, beginning to walk towards the gates of the mansion.

Jamie sighed, stroking back a wisp of her hair. "Selena, I wouldn't mind if you choseJessie. So OK, I would, but if I loved you that much then I'd accept your decision and let you get on your life. I'm sure Jessie'd do the same, too, if you chose me." He told her honestly.

Jessie sighed, glanced at Ami, and then back at Jamie and Selena, silently following Selena. He then heard what Jamie had said and sighed, glancing down on the ground. Sometimes, he liked the guy, but other times, he hated them. And sometimes he just thought that he was so caring that he didn't like him whatsoever.
