"My cat nearly lost her life because of some abusive child of a billionaire," Michel said.

"Thats terrible." Tora said though not really sure why she was carrying on this conversation. "Raze was the runt of a litter of hunting dogs. His owner didnt care much for him so he had to fend for himself."

Michel frowns, "Some humans are stupid to be honest."

"Yeah..." She agreed. Tora was only half lying, seeing that Raze's original owner was a demon but he was a stupid one.

It was hours before the doctors had given her enough blood to substitute what she had lost. Finally, a nurse came out and told Christian what was going on. "She's going to be okay. We'd like to keep her over night to monitor her condition, but she can leave tomorrow. From the amount of scar tissue on her arm, we suspect that she has manic depressive disorder. We suggest that she be put in an institution where she can be monitored at all times. Unless you know of any living family or friends that she could live with."

(Sorry. I was grounded for a while..)

Christian stood as the nurse came out. "She-" He paused and thought quickly. "She has a cousin. I can notify him and have him come in if you would like? Or you can have his number?" Christian wrote down his home phone number, knowing it would go to voicemail. He would have to play the cousin. "Am I allowed to see her?"

The nurse nodded. "She might be awake now. You can see her if you like." She went behind the desk to put the information into the computer.

Christian stumbled slightly into the door. When he saw her face he ran to the bedside. "Oh....Alena..."
