The Seven Riders (FULL)

[Midnight Butterfly]

Xaria woke up, yelping as she felt something licking her. Her eyes opened wide as she sat up, looking around. She sighed in relief as she saw she was back at the cave. "What am I doing back here? What happened?" She asked, confused.

[Toothless.]

Nighthawk smiled at Faerin, happy with his reaction. He swished his tail quietly, not forgeting that Faerin had asked to come here so he could hunt. "I'm glad you enjoyed it," he said, a quiet purring noise underlining his words.

As gravity dragged Sev down towards the water, Severna hoped that Nao would catch her. Nao did state that if she wasn't able to catch her than she would pull her out of the water. Feeling her eyes go dry Severna shut them and felt herself land on something. At first she thought she hit the ground, but than she realized she wasn't wet. Slowly she opened her eyes and saw that she was on Nao's back. She sighed in relief and mouthed 'thank you'. When Nao landed Severna happily jumped off of her and on to the dried grass. Severna looked down at her right arm and saw something appear on it. At first she figured it was black smudges, but than she realized that it was writing. She wasn't able to read the writing though.

"Congratulations, Severna," Nao said proudly. "You are now Rider Four, controller of air, and hostess of Wisdom." Nao smiled when the markings appeared on Sev's arm. "Malrak tonopara halkvri wer sulta, naam vur kalith geou xiilek tenamalo," she whispered. "That's all I can read, which is about half of it. It's an ancient Draconic language," she said, explaining the markings. "That means 'Forever bonded until the end, Wisdom and Courage will prosper again' as a rough translation," Nao said, looking at Severna's arm. "Severna, now that you are a rider, you command my actions. What do you wish to do first?"

Severna couldn't take her gaze off the markings on her arm. After Nao translated it she grinned and looked back up at Nao. "Well according to this it sounds like we make the perfect team!" With a slight frown Severna said, "Well, you did mention that I'm the fourth rider which means that there are others out there. Maybe we should go find them?" Severna looked up at Nao and spoke again, "I won't make you do anything that you don't want to by the way."

(( No problem :3 Everyone has actually already slept, but perhaps we could skip that because we are so far behind? ))

"That sounds like a marvelous idea," Nao said with a grin. "I don't know exactly where everyone is, but I believe that I have seen another dragon or two in this very forest." Nao gestured for Severna to climb back onto her. "I suppose there's only one way to find out!" Nao didn't exactly where to fly, but she hoped that somebody would see them in the air.

echo layed her head down and sighed "i almost killed you, im sorry!, i shouldnt have tryed to teach you that one!" echo said and tears started to fall from her eyes. "after you fell in the water i took you hear" echo said after a while and she looked away "im sorry Xaria, im sorry"

Xaria's eyes softened. "It's fine, I'm not dead..." She said with a smile, placing her hand gently on Echo's shoulder. "It'll just take me a while to build up my energy levels, it was my first time practicing after all..." She said gently. "One step at a time, at least until my magic gets better."

echo huffed and she lift her head and shifted her body so she was laying in a half circal around the girl and she layed her head in Xaria's lap and her toung flicked in and out and her tail wiped around and it slamed in to the side of a large elk buck and the sharp tip cut its throut and it fell. echo snorted "stupid elk, always hideing in our cave" she snorted

"Feeling better then?" Xaria said with a small smirk. She giggled, placing her hand on Echo's snout. "Shall we go out for a bit of flying? See if we can meet some of the other riders...?" She said, a grin on her face.
