echo streached her head over her back and grabecd a scale between her teeth and yanked, the scale poped off easally and it was much duller then the one under it, the one under it was larger and brighter and echo droped the scale to to yank more off, clearlly she was sheding her scales " it will hapon when the sun sets or rises,"" would you like to see my cave?" echo asked

Xaria nodded eagerly, looking at the patches of shiny new scales. She picked up one of the old ones, slipping it into her pocket. She looked up, waiting to be shown where this dragon lived.

echo picked up the rest of the scales and she stood on her back legs and started to walk totds her cave on her path. echo duched her head down as she walked in to a dark cave and echo reached up with one hand and moved a rock and lioght bounced of of cristals in the cave to light the hole cave up. "this is my home" echo said and she wlked over to a stone table and layed the scales down and organsed them, a few had deep dip in them so she pushed them to the side befor she wlaked in to a nother part of the cave and walked back out with a vine woven basket and set it down, it was full of flowers,leaves and roots.

Xaria jogged beside the dragon, watching as a rock was moved from the cave entrance. As light filled the cave, Xaria looked around, admiring the many crystals and watching as the light glinted off them. She stood, watching the dragon sort out her old scales. She wondered why, but thought it better not to ask.
