Arya flinched at the star, and then nodded. "Wow, thank you Byrd... are you sure none of the other wolves would mind? I'm not one of you..." But she was curious and walked, half running after to match her stride.

"Believe me, they won't mind. We tend to be on pretty good terms with the Fey and warlocks." Byrd said, noticing Arya's pace and slowing slightly. "Although luckily you do not have to brave the family dinner, as we only do that on Sundays. You want to be miles away when that happens, never ends well. Last week someone flipped the table and nearly crushed half my pack. Barbarians, the lot of them."

"Aww, that's alright." Arya flashed a warm smile. "I already ate," she lied. A pack of grown werewolves, fighting over food? The thought was more terrifying than that one vampire. She shrugged her jacket on, fitting it better on her shoulders.

"Good, because god knows what happened to the groceries I bought this morning. They're probably already gone." Byrd laughed. The lights of the apartment shone ahead of them. "It's right up there." she said, pointing at the glamoured building. "Warlock put a glamour on it for us, keeps the mundies away."

The warlock laughed with her. Arya glanced at the glamour, clicking her tongue. "Its actually not a very good quality. I can renew it for you, if you'd like. For a place to stay. For the night." She offered. She didn't really like taking things for free.

"Really? that'd be great. The room is yours." Byrd said, opening the door. "I had a problem with a shadowhunter earlier this morning." She held open the door, and gestured for Arya to go through. "Go to the top floor, room 310. Press one on your telephone if you need anything."

Gem thought about her wing that was now ruined. It had holes from the claw marks in her right wing and she healed it but the holes staid and now there was no way she could fly and flying was her favorite thing to do and she use to fly with her parents. A tear fell from her green eyes and her face was a little red and she pushed her green short hair out of her face. Gem put on more glamorous to cover her black and white butterfly wings and her pointed ears from the humans and she was going to the bar, she needed a beer
