Midnight hissed at Hubble and Snow causing them to jump. She seemed to 'chuckle' when they did.

Alex glared at Alice "you know i'm not one to hit girls" he says and bends down to Midnight "but.." he said taking the chain off Midnight "that's why I have Midnight" he continued letting Midnight loose.
Midnight ran Alice hissing and growling at her.
