"Goodnight..." Orine said, rather lightly. She then sighed and sat down beside the wall facing Yuki. Then she lay down, her feet almost touching Yuki's where the two wall met. Her head was facing Eiko's head and Kokushou was beside her, with Kokuryo yet beside the princess. ((Trying to create an image in my head as to where Orine is laying)) She sighed as she was not tired in the least bit. Looking at the moon through the only window, Orine sighed again and turned to look at Eiko sleeping, then after a while, at Kokushou. When it seemed like she'd been staring at everyone for a long time, Orine hoisted herself up and silently went up to the deck. The night was quite calm and the gentle lull of the sea was rocking the ship as if rocking it to sleep. Orine walked over to the railings and stared down at the waves. The reflection of the moon was shimmering in the dark sea... The only brightness in the darkness that engulfed the world around the ship. Orine chuckled as the thought to how lonely the ship must seem. How lost it must seem. Yet it wasn't lost and there were plenty of people on board. The deck was quiet at this time of the night and everyone seemed to be sleeping. Orine could hear sounds of the waves crashing against each other. Maybe it was because of the silence but Orine thought that the water noises was growing louder. Orine looked out this time far and could see the outline of the tiny island they were going for. The ship was going to pass by that island at dawn and their little group would have to be awake and ready to jump by then. Orine stopped, remembering her father's request or rather-- demand. Nine dungeons captured, or else she cannot return to the fanalise. Orine's heart hardened again as she remembered and how Kokuryo wanted to capture this dungeon, she knew that this dungeon was what Kokuryo wanted. However, she needed this dungeon in order to return home. It was going to bring her a step closer. Should she get a head start and fly away right now? Orine looked back at the stairs that led to the dorms and indecision filled her. She imagined the others...No, her friends, waking up and noticing her absence. Then she imagined their disappointment when they see the dungeon lowering into the sea again and figuring out what she had done. Her heart pounded and the sound of waves crashing plunged into her ears. Orine bit her lip and it bled, the warm tangy taste woke her up. How could she even have hesitated to leave? It was she who wanted to go capture dungeons around the world. It was her who HAD to. Did any of them have to capture a certain amount of dungeons before returning home? Orine never wanted to leave her homeland, but was forced to. Now she must earn it back. But then Orine felt guilt grab at her again when she thought of how they had traveled with her for so many days and how they had trusted her. Clenching her hands into fists, Orine punched the railings, causing a part of it to shoot into the waters. The water noises was still there. She has to go. She never asked them to travel with her. She never did. Or at least she doesn't remember doing so. In fact, Orine doesn't even remember how she got caught up in this group. It wasn't her fault if she left and she shouldn't owe them anything by leaving. Orine knew she should be determined now. Yet there it was again, a gentle tug, keeping her from jumping the railings and activating her djinn. "See?" Orine muttered to herself. "This is what happens if you get yourself attached. I thought you promised yourself... Never again...." Orine hesitated but then activated her djinn. "Djinn equip!" She said and her rings lit up, while Orine's plain clothes was trapped with much more detailed and flexible/pretty clothing. A thin layer of transparent armor cased her. "They'll do fine without you." She murmured to herself and shot out yarn with her rings, waving her arms around at first to weave a flying mat. Then she forced herself to dance, since that was part of what was required for weaving the mat. It has to be filled with enjoyment to fly. So Orine whirled around, weaving the mat and like Morgiana, she was surprisingly good at dancing. Her pink hair brushed her cheeks and Orine was soon finished. Huffing, Orine stopped and swiftly flicked her fingers, letting the rings do the final knots. With a deep breath, she placed her hand and on the mattress and it instantly lifted off the ground. Orine looked back yet again but then squeezed her eyes shut. "They're just your friends, Orine. Not your soul mate. You don't have to stick with them forever. There will always be a parting, sooner or later. You know it." She said to encourage herself. "Farewell, my friends." She said quietly and with that, she turned her head and heaved herself onto the mattress. Just as she was about to take off, she was crying. The tears streamed down her face since she knew that after this, she'd probably not ever want to see the group again, due to shame. This was the last. If she went back now, maybe she could still act like nothing happened. How Orine wished that somebody was here to stop her now... Then she'd have an excuse. But she knew it was up to her now. No more excuses, no more depending. Orine touched her cheek and started wiping the tears away, only just realizing the liquid. "Eh...?" She choked. "What the heck is wrong with me? Why?" She said, almost in a wail and wiped her face clean. She sniffed twice and squeezed the edge of the mat. "Let's go." She said, after a while, hearing the waves even more clearly and louder than before. The mat took off. Orine was determined. She wouldn't come back. The night was still calm and the moon was still bright. But a danger lurked in the waters. Orine thought she was imagining it at first, but then the water noises kept on growing louder and louder. She stopped in the air as the surface of the water was broken and a large fin followed by a head appeared. Orine only gaped as the large creature rose out of the water, it's back facing her and it facing the ship. Orine was not far away from the ship. The creature's tail came out next and slammed the waters beside the ship hard, however, not much sound was made except the eloquent and beautiful sound of slicing water. Tugging on her mat, Orine changed direction instantly and noticed that the sea serpent was none other than the silent killer. Known to have destroyed many ships and killed many powerful men. It's ability was to almost noiselessly come, noiselessly kill, and silently depart. Orine gasped when the serpent raised it's tail again and aimed at the ship. However, the serpent seemed to have heard and swiveled around to stare at the tiny human. "OY!" Orine yelled as loud as she could, meaning to wake everyone up and warn them. She rose up high into the air to where she knew would be safe. "WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!" She hollered, but realized that her voice couldn't travel that far. Orine lingered in the air but then zoomed downwards. "WAKE UP! SEA SERPENT! QUICK EMERGENCY!" She screamed at the top of her lungs when she was close enough. Orine tried to divert the sea serpent and it slapped at her with it's giant flippers but Orine dodged with gritted teeth, trying to buy some time. But the monster soon ignored her and focused on the ship again. "Zepar!" Orine yelled, calling the sound Djinn. Her rings lit up again and Orine shot out sticky masses of thick vine-like strings randomly. The serpent raised it's tail, unfazed by the attacks. It aimed again and Orine stood up on the mat. She focused as sound engulfed her fists and she jumped down, onto the serpent with a punch aided by the sound magic. The serpent finally jerked but slammed it's tail down anyway. Orine acted fast she shot out again with spiked strings and planted her feet firm on the serpent's slippery scales and pulled the other way, preventing the tail to touch the ship. She knew her strength would be enough to hold it, but wasn't as sure about her mass of strings. Her magoi was being used fast as she engulfed herself in that light yellow protection ball while sending sound magic to strengthen the strings. Orine yelled and the serpent tossed. Then, it happened all at once. Her right foot slipped and her body got tossed sideways, her left thigh and side of her arm got jabbed onto the sharp scales that the serpent-who know when- had raised like fruit being jabbed with a tooth pick. The vine like strings were sliced by the razor scales the serpent had raised and it's tail shot downwards.
