Orine continued smashing the chains and managed to free one kid. But then she noticed that Yuki was safe in the tree. Was it possible that the shadow needs to be under something and can’t reach things that are on top of something? She decided to go back to the tree.

Yuki's blood flow stopped, and she picked up a rock from the tree. ((Apparently, it's a rock tree.)) "Let's do this!" She yelled, and launched it at the shadow. Her aim was true, and it bonked off the shadowman's head. "YAAAS ~>u<~" she said happily. The rock appeared to have only angered the shadowpeople; but at least it did something.

Yuki launched more rocks in rapidfire at the stupid shadow. "WHY. DON'T. YOU. JUST. GO AWAY!!!" she cried, enunciating each word with a stone.

"Ow!" Kokushou cried as something hard hit her head. She opened her eyes and found herself standing in front of Yuki.
"Um... Yuki?! How did I get here?!"

"Come sit next to me," Yuki replied, patting the tree branch that she was sitting on BECAUSE KOKUSHOU WAS STANDING ON THIN AIRhinthint. "I've discovered that throwing rocks is a pretty good strategy, and they can't seem to get us from up here."
