Veron gulped but nodded affirmatively. He looked hesitantly around the room and waved to his two half-siblings and they took it as a sign to go with his to protect the flag. "R-ready when you are..." murmured Veron, shoving his hands back into his pockets. The three Demeter kids in one area so close together made a potted flower on the table bloom, getting a chuckle from Veron.

Percy watched the three and nodded. CF starts later today so you can discuss how you'll hide the flag, what with its location and everything. He said. You're all dismissed. About three hours after lunch, meet up at the armory so we can get our armour and weapons.

Veron nodded silently and quickly walked out of the cabin, glad to be away from the crowd he went around to the side and leaned against a wall, taking a deep breath. "I can't believe I actually spoke up in there," he muttered to himself.

H A Z E L shrugged. "Maybe," she told Zisel honestly. She had always been on a team with either Percy and Annabeth or just Percy. And for this CF, she thought it was funny about who was leading which team. Annabeth was leading Percy's favorite color and Percy was leading Annabeth's second favorite color.

A N N A B E T H noticed Hazel and Zisel not to far and tilted her head, motioning for Alexus to follow her as she walked over. "Hey. What team are you guys on?" she asked.

Zisel turned to Annabeth and, having no idea who this was, answered, "Oh, I'm on Annabeth's team!" She felt excitement and nerves bubble up inside her for her first game here at camp.
