Hermione made her way towards kings cross station with her mum and dad, they looked proudly at her with her prefect badge glimmering in the sunlight. She said her goodbyes and wheeled her trolley up to the two platforms nine and ten and waited for the family in front of her to pass through the wall, she could tell one of them was starting her first year, looking nervous, Hermione began to think of her first year and all her adventures she had with her two best friends, Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley. Once they were gone, Hermione began to run towards the wall, and in a second she was already on the other side. She looked around for anyone she knew but couldn't seem to find any, she knew there weren't going to be many students at hogwarts this year, because of the war a few months ago, most people had changed, including Hermione, her looks and her personality, she wasn't the same bookworm everyone knew her as, she had long hair that reached her waist and fell into bouncy curls, she had begun to wear a bit of makeup and wore more stylish clothes, she also didn't really mind failing a test, but she still studied and tried her best of course, another thing is that she had developed some strange attraction to Draco Malfoy, who had taunted her for the past six years. Hermione suddenly heard the engines booming from the train as it was about to leave. She ran and hopped onto the hogwarts express and breathed in a sigh of relief. Hermione looked around for any sign of her friends, she walked up along the corridor, looking briefly into each compartment she passed, until she bumped into something, more like someone, she fell to the ground with a clank and looked up to see who it was and her heart nearly stopped for a few moments, it was the one and only Draco Malfoy.

Cedric sighed as he watched all the kids hugging their parents goodbye, some even bursting into tears. His parents were nothing like that, they simply nodded their heads at him and left. He was absoloutely dreading this year, he only decided to redo his seventh year to get away from all his problems. Cedric hopped onto the hogwarts express and began to look for an empty compartment, after a few minutes on searching he finally found one, he slid open the door, sat down and fell into a deep sleep.
