Hermione Jean Granger is the only daughter of two Muggle dentists. Hermione is academically gifted and spends much time studying, doing homework, and other class-related things during the year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hermione often serves as the voice of reason when her two best friends Harry Potter and Ron Weasley get themselves into interesting or dangerous situations. Although seemingly always stressed due to schooling, Hermione is dependable when called upon, and is extremely adept at accomplishing things correctly and efficiently. Hermione has a rather bossy voice, bushy brown hair, and large front teeth, which she later has magically shrunk, But that was before her last year at Hogwarts, She outgrew her hair which now reaches her waist in bouncy curls she has rather pale skin and arched eyebrows. Cedric was born in September or October, 1977, to Amos Diggory and his wife. He grew up near Ottery St. Catchpole and started attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on 1 September, 1989. He was Sorted into Hufflepuff house, and distinguished himself as both an academic and athletic student, becoming a Prefect in his fifth year, as well as captain and Seeker of the house Quidditch team. Cedric started his seventh year in September 1994, the same year that the Triwizard Tournament was reinstated. Being of age, Cedric submitted his name to the Goblet of Fire for the chance to become the Hogwarts Champion. On October 31st, the Goblet chose the champions to represent the three schools; Fleur Delacour for Beauxbatons, Viktor Krum for Durmstrang, and Cedric himself for Hogwarts. Cedric joined the other champions in a small room off the Great Hall, and was surprised to learn that after he had left the Hall, the Goblet had produced a fourth name - Harry Potter. Despite Harry's protestations, Cedric didn't believe Harry at all. Cedric completed the first two tasks, In the third was tied against Harry Potter, They both arrived at a graveyard, Harry told him to get to the goblet, so he did.
