I hugged his neck and looked up at him with sleepy eyes. "You've made me a happier person." I admitted without being timid.

I nodded and rubbed Nicolettes cheek with my thumb. "Nicolette, I will be back in thirty minutes, I forgot something back at the old house." I said softly.

I pulled out of the driveway in my car, and drove back to my old house. I unlocked the house, and ran into my room upstairs. My mother had left her ring here, along with are fathers as a family heir. I picked them up out of my nightstand, and headed back to the house.

I laid down on the bed and held the little girl close. I kissed her head and then closed my eyes as I was taking in everything once more.

I sat up and pulled her with me. "Kate that is wonderful. Now we will be able to have a loving family. Little pitter pattering feet. And a happy life together. I am glad that you are in remission." I spoke softly as I smiled brightly for the first time in six months.

I hid the rings in my pocket, and walked back into the house, and down into the room Nicolette was in. I smiled softly at the sight of her and the baby, and grabbed the formula sitting on the nightstand. "I don't mean to intrude, but she needs to eat." I spoke softly, handing her the bottle.
