[Loch Ness]

At the age of eight, we look into the Untempered Schism. It hurts, believe me. Some are inspired to great things, like the Chancellor. Some run. And some… Some go mad. The inspired ones are held up as examples for us all to follow, but all the greatest stories are about the others. It is forbidden to speak those stories, but we all see them in the course of time. The Doctor. The Master. Others too, but those are the most famous. The Master is an unbridled force of chaos. The Doctor, of order. Every Time Lord child dreams of being like one of them, but the harsh reality these days is that most new recruits are killed in battle before they reach the age of 200. This is the Time War, and there are no heroes. Only soldiers. But what if you had a chance to escape all that? What if there were one TARDIS with the will and the mutation to make it out of the timelocked war? Would you run? You would forever be remembered as a coward, but is it better than staying and becoming a monster? Which would you rather retain? Your honor? Or your soul?

Although the Master and the Doctor are mentioned in the plot, no canon characters are to be played in this RP.

Name: The Journeyman (Rodageit)
Gender: Male
Age: 78
Incarnation: 2nd
Physical Description: He's well-proportioned, but in a skinny sort of way. Slightly sculpted, but by no means muscular. He's known for tapping his fingers on any available surface when he's nervous and running his fingers through his hair or popping his collar when concentrating. He doesn't stand out when he walks into a room, but he also doesn't disappear. He has a musical sort of voice, not high or low, but sort of medium.
Clothing: The first thing he saw when he looked into the Time Vortex was a flash of a 21st century era gathering of teenagers, and he has been fascinated by their style ever since. Most other Time Lords his age think he's pretty weird.
Equipment: He doesn't carry much, but he always figured psychic paper may come in handy, so he always carries a sheet of it in his pocket. He allso carries a fob watch that belonged to his parents.
Personality: Not overbearing, but also not a pushover. He knows what he wants, but he won't argue with you. He'll just do it. Tends to be quiet and stick to the background, but when he is angered, he is a force to be reckoned with.
Skills: Has always been one to work with technology, sneaking into quite a few TARDISes over the years trying to figure out how they work. He has always wished for his own TARDIS. He's good with his hands, and can rewire almost anything, from a small tech device to a bomb.
History: His parents were great warriors of Gallifrey for many years, but roughly 40 years ago they took Rodageit on a rare trip into what was left of the Gallefreyan countryside in an attempt to forget the war for a day. Somehow a platoon of Daleks managed to track them, and ambushed the trio while they were off guard. Rodageit's father pushed him into a nearby lake to protect him, but not before he was hit by a dalek blast. Rodageit watched his parents use up their last regenerations to protect him. The Daleks forget about him, leaving once they took down his parents. He managed to drag himself out of the lake in time to regenerate alone. He barely made it back to his village, due to the weirdness of regenerations, and had to hide from Daleks on multiple occasions. He was inducted into Time Lord training, but his psyche has never quite recovered.

Muse is kinda scarily tall. 5'10, at least.When not in a {very tight} bun her hair hangs down just above her knees. If she's just kinda standing around, she'll grip the clothing at her sides.
Clothing:
Well, if in her Victorian Era clothing, The Musician will wear what she is pictured in above. If she's in modern day clothing she wears fingerless gloves, jean shorts, and pinkish tank top under an over-sized brown coat that is almost as long as her hair is.
Equipment:
Muse has a malfunctioning time-vortex manipulator {It almost always gets the date right but almost never the place!} And a malfunctioning sonic screwdriver. She never uses her screwdriver because... well... You don't wanna use malfunctioning sonics! Of course, she doesn't really use her vortex manipulator either because she doesn't want to end up in space where there's no air and she can't breathe. It's common sense! Anyway, Musician also has a guitar which she calls Victoria {Named after Queen Victoria. Muse loves her guitar like the doctor loves his TARDIS.}, which she keeps in a fabric case strapped around her back.
Personality:
Muse is kinda sarcastic, but she almost never means any of her sarcasm. It might take her a while to warm up to someone, but once she's friends with someone she is fiercely loyal and will defend them no matter what. If anyone insulted her, she's be able to take it without getting mad, but if someone were to insult one of her friends, she would tear them to shreds in an instant. Musician is normally an optimistic, happy Time-Lady, but can be brought down by especially sad things like deaths and mistreated puppies. Muse is surprisingly calm under pressure most of the time, but can't think her way out of things like the Doctor can.
Skills:
The Musician is obviously skilled at most musical instruments, though I won't list them here since there is so many! She also likes animals, specifically dogs, hedgehogs, and lizards.
History:
Muse fought in the time war- Right in Arcadia! Most would call her a coward if they had survived. Just as the Musician was about to be blasted by a Dalek, she used her vortex manipulator {The reason her sonic and TVM are glitched is because she held her sonic to the time-vortex manipulator to get out of the time war.} to teleport away. And guess where she ended up! Muse ended up right in front of Queen Victoria herself. Over time they became best friends and Queen Victoria gave Muse her guitar. After Victoria created Torchwood, a very unfortunate thing happened. The Musician reached the end of her first life and regenerated. Victoria was horrified that horrified that her friend of 8 years was an alien, and ordered Muse's arrest. In order to avoid her arrest, Muse was forced to use her vortex manipulator....

Companion to the Musician.
History
Torpulous was a noble back on his home planet, Portokall. In fact, he was the prince! Next in line for the throne. For at least the last 200 years, Portokall had been ruled by horrible dictators. There were also strict rules on who Royalty could and could not associate with. Torp fell in love with one of the poor common females of his species and secretly married her. He was hoping to make their marrage public after he became ruler and changed so many things, but never got the chance. It's sad, really. He would have been a great ruler and would have helped to end many people's poverty, stop the slave trade, and end the dictator-ship. A couple years later, he was betrothed to his third cousin. Torp despised his cousin and ran away to be with his wife. Not long after that the royal military found him- holding his new-born son. Soon the whole family was taken into custody, likely to be executed. Torp escaped, however, but the door to the escape pod was closed before his wife and child could get in. He watched helplessly as they were taken back to their prison cell to await their death.
After what seemed like forever, Torp's ship was hit by an asteroid and he crashed on an unknown planet {What he later discovered was Earth}. He now lives under a bridge in his somehow mostly-intact but unflyable ship. He's been there for atleast twenty years.
Torp doesn't know this, but his wife and child actually lived. They were rescued by the Rebels who are working to overthrow the dictators. Torp's wife now is leader of the rebellion. He doesn't know his wife is alive, but Muse does. She refuses to take him to Portokall to go and see her, because on his own planed he is considered a martyr, and she doesn't want to cause the rebellion to fail.
Personality
Torp is not the brightest person {or Portokallian} you'll meet. In fact, he's kinda on the stupid side. Torp's often clueless as to what's going on and is a little too free with his secrets that he desperately wants to keep. Torpulous is very forlorn and sullen due to a tragic history. However, he does smile when given the chance.

Physical Description:

Though he doesn't approve of it, he ended up albino this incarnation. He has short, snow white hair that covers his ears, and bright red eyes that are extremely sensitive to light. He's also short, being 5' even, with snow white skin. He actually likes being short, oddly enough....
Clothing: he usually wears a black dress shirt with one tie or another with it, black dress pants, and a pair of mirrored sunglasses so that the sun doesn't bother his eyes quite as much as it would without.
Equipment: He has a Sonic Screwdriver, and sometimes he can manage to keep up with a piece of psychic paper.
Personality: I would like to see a bit of depth here.

Name: Rhea, "The Medic" (No, not supposed to be a spin-off of "The Doctor". It's completely coincidental.)
Gender: Female
Age: 93
Incarnation: 3rd.

Physical Description: Rhea is small and lithe, and looks about fifteen or sixteen in Earth years, with straight, long red hair that's usually tied back in a topknot, ponytail, or braid. One of her eyes is green, while the other is gold.
Clothing: She wears a loose cropped t-shirt and an olive tank top under it with camo-style cargo pants and combat boots.
Equipment: She has a bow and arrows, but has a sonic pen as back-up.

Personality: Rhea is very opinionated, and isn't afraid to speak her mind, even if it upsets the Council, so she's gotten into trouble many a time. She can be abrasive and reckless, but most of the time she knows when to draw the line. She believes there is a fine line between bravery and recklessness. She can be kind when she wants to be, though.

Skills: As her title states, she has lots of medical skill. She also is skilled in archery.

History: Her parents, who were both soldiers, were killed in the Time War when she was around 10. She then lived on the streets and figured out how to evade the Daleks, but not before losing two of her regenerations to them. Eventually she was found and taken into the Academy for military training when she was 19, but the years of street life and the Schism combined make it so that at times she's bordering on insane.

Personality
Maddison is tough. Tougher then you can believe. She is bitter, but she does have her soft moments. If she's called for a meeting, Maddison is either the harsh talkative one, or the soft quiet one.

Skills
Maddison has an unsettlingly large amount of knowledge of technology, both native and alien. It's the same reason how she got her TARDIS to look like a human that she'd just talk to, and be inside. Maddison also knows how to hack and possibly overclock a TARDIS's powers...
