I look up in surprise. My eyes flicker with wariness. "I wouldn't be surprised if they killed him. They killed the rest of my family." I say, a forlorn hint in my voice. The nightmares come flooding back with a gasp. I shake my head, releasing the horrid memories. I get up, slashing at the bars with my scythe. I jump back in shock at the agony surging through my scythe. I must have rubbed it raw.

Lee-Umbreon: *she sat there calmly, watching him. she must have dealt with a lot of hybrids like this.* you done? *she asked him as she used her foot to scratch her ear. she could have used her hand but she liked the flexibility that she had gotten after being a hybrid...though she wished she could be with Night aswell.* our pokemon are fine *she told him.* I know it!

Kiro:

I growl. "I'm not a little kid. That Absol is not just my Pokemon. He was the only reason I survived for the last four years. He was my only friend, the only one I could talk to." I groan, flapping my wings nervously. I pause. "You know, you could stop acting like you're so civil. I mean, look at you. You've resorted to scratching your ear with your filthy foot."

Lee-Umbreon: *she looked at him and she giggled* your funny *she told him* anyways your right I'm not as civil as I look, but seeing I've been here for 5 years and having no idea what goes on the world, I think I deserve a break *she told him* how's Kanto anyways? *she asked him* they have a new champion yet?

Kiro:

I blush, the red showing very clearly on my pale cheeks. I grin, showing sharp fangs. "You're looking at the Champion. With only two Pokemon, too. My Absol beat most of 'em up for me. My Umbreon killed off the rest." My eyes darken, as I yell out again, at nothing in particular. "You know, Kanto won't appreciate you kidnapping their champion!"

Lee-Umbreon: that's what they do *she told Kiro* they take champions, trainers and I think even pokebreeders....pretty much anyone who is close to their pokemon *she said as she stretched, her tail curled on top of her lap.* it's something about their experiments...had myself an Umbreon...poor girl *she said as she sighed* wonder what they did with her *she said* they better be feeding her right. *she said* she hates sour and spicy food but loves sweet *she explained* she's very picky

Kiro:

I widen my eyes. "My Absol can eat anything. One day, he was so starving, he took a bite of his own turd. Man, all that vomit was really hard to clean up, especially when all you have is moss to clean it up." I laugh. "He'd fight them off if they tried to kill him. He can live by himself. When Hurricane was at level 30, he saved us from a level 80 Gyrados that had emerged from the lake."

Lee-Umbreon: *she shrugged* Night's not as fantastic as that sounds *she replied* but I raised her from an egg...in fact my big brother gave me her egg...he was a pokebreeder...I dunno if he still is or not *she said with a sigh* but yeah I was 6 when Night finally hatched...I never even had a pokemon from the professor because I had Night

Kiro:

I sighed. "Hurricane was given me as a family heirloom. I hated him at first. It wasn't until he saved my life from a scientist when I began to trust him so deeply. She said that if I could beat all her six Pokemon with my one Absol then she'd let me go. He beat them all. We ran so far I found myself at MewTwo's cave, the Absol argued and wrestled with the heartless Pokemon till he gave in and protected us, let us stay. Even fed us. A couple scientists tried to come after us, but the MewTwo blasted 'em back." I buried my face in my hands, trying to suppress tears. I let out a low moan, and lay my head against the wall, sick with worry.

Lee-Umbreon: *her blue rings glowed in the dim light* you should calm down some *she told him as she shook, feeling grit and dusty in her hair and her patches of fur. the fur was on her ears and tail, though that was it* you won't last to see your Absol if you die from worry...if that's even possible...but I guess it might be since if you get sick enough you'll die *she said, rambling on. she did that when she was nervous though no one really noticed since she was always chattering.*
