Damien stared at hr. "Do you want me to stay here?"

Aine looked up, embarrased, but nodded. "I've never been alone before," she confided quietly.

Aine tried to give a small smile. "Thank you," she said. She stared down at her little dagger awkwardly, and then began tracing patterns with it's tip into the side of her arm, focusing on the emotion's around her; Damien's in particular. He seemed to genuinely want to stay with her. That surprised her. "You're sure?" she asked.

Damien nodded. "ya. Totally."

Aine nodded. She paused with her dagger's point at the center of her arm, thinking of something. "Wait a minute," she said, slightly confused. "You said that if I was caught stealing, not to expect anyone to come and save me... but then you faced the Sentinel man." She looked up at Damien curiously.
