"Because I can kill you." Ichoron answered simply.

Hazuki shrugged. "It's not like I haven't heard that before."

"Because! You are so... free! And so... well, ignorant. You don't have to know or feel the things that Graces grant. And why should you? Some of them are horrible things." Aine didn't want to say it, but she was beginning to realize she was a little envious of Damien, if only for his normality.

Ichoron sighed as he walked over and stood by the door.

Hazuki felt him move. She wondered what he was gunna do.

Damien shook his head. "Well maybe Graces are bad. but some of them are good. Like people with Healing graces...if we didn't have them, millions of us would die."

"I wonder how the 'good' king is holding up. I have heard no..." Ichoron stopped when he heard voices and armor clinking. "He sent out the guards..." he whispered, looking over at the girls.

Aine blinked. "I hadn't thought of that... but my Grace doesn't do anyone any good. I can't heal anyone."

{Hmm... actually, that'd be an interesting part of her Grace for her to develop, like Katsa's Grace for killing/surviving. If Aine can feel pain, perhaps someday she will be able to heal it?}
