Merida
Merida shook her head as one of the boys leaped off of Angus' head and slipped through the bars on the gates, and soon the rest of them followed.
She slowly handed the guard her invitation so he would let her in. In a few minutes the gates opened, as if hesitant to let in the visitors. She gasped as she beheld the courtyard, flowers were blooming everywhere, each had a distinct scent and the colors were amazing! The ground beneath her feet glowed with a healthy sheen, everything seemed so warm. As she neared the front door a young man in a dapper suit approached her, "May I take your horse Miss?" he asked, Merida nodded and sheepishly handed him the reins. Merida could not hear what was going on inside but she saw frost, creeping up the windows in a room above her.

Edward
Edward stirred, he had been sleeping. The road to Arondelle was dreadfully long and boring. The carriage jerked violently, and some yelling ensued outside. Theives? he thought, cautiously pulling the velvet curtains enough to see gruff looking men, bedecked in leather shouting at his servants. One of the men opened the door and demanded everything he had, Edward willingly handed over his money but the man stayed. The thief cleared his throat and gestured to Edwards dress clothes. "Really?" Edward said in disbelief, sitting dejected in his trousers. "OUT!" The man howled, pointing his sword at Edward. "Alright-alright!" Edward said, extremely annoyed, exiting the carriage and watching as the thieves drove away, singing and laughing as they went.
