(Sorry... I went on a hike up to the top of a mountain in my state yesterday, and after that, the rest of the day was to be computer free. But now, I'm back. 8D And wow, this is a twist. XD )

- Jack -

I bolted upright as I heard Sabrina ask what was the matter with Epsilon, and I felt her look at me. I frowned and stood up, wondering what was going on. I stood there, staring for a moment and then walked over, looking at Epsilon and Sabrina with dark eyes. What was going on? Why did Epsilon look so shocked? I stared down, my eyebrows furrowing down as I felt the tension in the air. "I saw my name on it..." Epsilon said, still seeming shocked about something. I leaned over Sabrina's shoulder as she took the paper from Epsilon and read it. Suddenly I felt my eyes go wide as I read the piece of paper, and I couldn't help but feel a bit confused. What the heck was this all about? I shot a quick glare at Pawz before turning my eyes back to the paper, wishing that he didn't have to act so casual about it.

I read the piece of paper over and over again, finding it harder and harder to believe by the second. How did this... I stared at Epsilon. He didn't really look like either of us but how... This couldn't be possible. I found that I was hyperventilating from confusion and I tried to calm myself down, and I noticed that Sabrina was staring at me. I turned to look at her eyes and still couldn't believe it. I turned to Epsilon, frowning still. "You sure that this wasn't some file they put out for us to be even more confused?" I asked slowly, staring at the ground now, hoping that Epsilon's answer was what I hoped it to be "I think so..." but I didn't feel like that was the answer.

- Brooke -

I frowned as I listened to Gemma say that they were going to meet the other avians. I wanted to meet them too... But still, I didn't want to go back up into the air again. Were they on ground, or still flying in the air? I was quiet as she finished, saying please at the ending. I shrugged. "If it means staying on the ground, I'm fine if I stay here for now..." I said, pretty much sure of myself. I heard Kira reply and smiled slightly, happy that at least I wasn't the only one being left behind. We had to hide though, but where would we hide? In a tree? That was most likely. I nodded, not knowing if they would notice, but hopefully they would know, along with me saying that I had agreed just before. "Bye." I replied to Gemma as she said "Uhm, see you later." and I heard the whoosh of her wings, and then she was gone. I waited for Galen's wings to flap open, but for all I knew, he could be gone by now. I shrugged and sat down, waiting for Kira to say what to do next. Even though she was younger than me, she still could see. That counts for something.

(Okay... I'll give another recap just to clear things up with the mini flock and stuff...

So... Sabrina and the flock were having fire arrows shot at them. Sabrina sent out Jack and Edward to find the person who was shooting the arrows, because they have echolocation as their power. The two boys flew out and then Jack got hit by a dart, by Aspen, who was sitting in a tree a little bit away from the fight. The dart had poison on it, so Jack fell and Edward went back to the flock, saying that Jack was hit. Sabrina tried to deflect some arrows with her wing, but one of the arrows hit her wing and caused a wound. Jack was fetched by Aspen, bound up tight, and she carried him in eraser form for a long time, and then stopped to make camp. Jack talked to Aspen a few times, and tried to slow them down by complaining, but they continued, and Jack's wings got bound next. Sabrina and the flock went after Jack, who had been taken to the school where he met Snow, a feline girl who is only 6 years old (one of my new charries.) Sabrina soon got to the School, and along with them they had Pawz, an eraser which they had seen earlier, who had sort of joined their group. They freed Jack, who freed Snow, but Aspen was there as they were escaping and was about to shoot at Sabrina, but Snow knocked her over in her feline form, even though Aspen shot the dart before, and it hit Snow in her arm, knocking her out. Aspen was knocked against the wall, and went unconscious. The flock escaped, with Jack carrying Snow in his arms, Sabrina carrying Pawz in hers, and they landed a ways away from the School. Pawz sensed other erasers, three of them, and he went to confront them, sucking them into this black vortex thingie. Jack was sitting near Snow, who woke up, and started to murmur words that didn't make sense to Jack, saying that they should avoid the waterfall, and random nonsense that didn't mean anything to Jack, but did to Snow. Snow finally totally woke up, being in a trance from her ramblings, and fell back asleep. Sabrina returned to the flock, and Epsilon has just told Sabrina and Jack that he found a file in the School, in which it reveals that Epsilon and Boots are Jack and Sabrina's children.

Back with the mini flock when the fight was going on, Cody joined up with the group and Brooke sensed Coyote's vibrations in the earth of him in coyote form, and told the others that a coyote was near. Galen said that he didn't feel comfortable around coyotes because they meant danger, so they took off into the air, and Gemma was helping Brooke take off. Brooke can't sense vibrations in the air, so when Gemma took off into the air and was beside her and suddenly talked, Brooke freaked and fell far down from the height that they were from. Gemma flew down to her and pulled her back up, and went over to Galen, talking about where they should go. They decided to head east, and Gemma had Kira and Cody help guide her instead, as Gemma flew ahead. They flew for some time, until they saw Sabrina's flock heading towards the School to bust out Jack. Galen and Gemma decided that they would go ahead to meet up with them, but first they had to help Brooke land. Gemma told Brooke to dive down to the ground, and pull up when she yelled to Brooke to stop. Brooke did so, and felt something snap kind of in her wing, but landed safely. Gemma asked if she was alright, and Brooke didn't want her to worry, so she said that she was fine, despite the pain that she had felt momentarily in her wings as she tried to land. Galen said that they were going ahead to see the flock, which had already rescued Jack, and were sitting where they are now. Kira, Cody and Brooke were directed to hide, while they went to see. Gemma has just taken off into the air.

Wow. That's the best recap I think I've ever written. XD )

Epsilon shook his head, "I found it in the big file room" He said with tearfull eyes. Sabrina still could not speak. She felt like she might throw up. She couldn't look at Jack anymore. She couldn't look at anyone at the moment. She had children? They were...hers...and Jack's! Sabrina shook all over as her face got even paler

- Aspen -

I woke up to a painful throbbing in the back of my head and I opened my eyes wearily. Everything was blurred, but I quickly adjusted to the pain and was up on my feet in a few minutes. I picked up my crossbow which was lying near me, and yawned, looking around, unhappily remembering what had just happened. That little puny girl had attacked me. The feline girl had pushed me and knocked me out, but I remember getting a shot at her. I hoped she was suffering right now. I snarled and looked at the open window, padding towards it silently. Well, all the avians had managed to escape with the bird boy. I stared out the window, and then launched myself from it, unfurling my wings immediately, catching the wind, coasting along the thermal updrafts.

Landing soon after, I sat down in a small woodland forest near a small stream, taking some water, drinking it greedily, splashing it in my face. My head was still hurting, but the throbbing had cut down. When I found that feline girl, she would wish she had never escaped. I yawned and fingered with a few of my throwing knifes, tempted to practice, seeing as I had nothing else to do. Right now would be the perfect time though to try and find the avians though, probably all of them were resting in a clearing somewhere from the previous action. Huh. No stamina these bird kids. I stood up and stretched, and then went on my way, walking quietly without a sound, and with that, the hunt started.

- Jack -

I glared at Pawz again as I sensed him smile, and hoped he would just shut up. I felt like saying that to him, even if he wasn't saying anything. In the moment, I just felt so confused that for some reason, I wanted to take my anger out on something. Funny thing the mind is eh? I stared at the paper for a few more seconds until I finally realized that nothing would happen if I stood around here. I needed some time to myself. I shuffled away awkwardly, not really knowing what to say, seeing as this was a big shocker. "I... I need some time to think..." I said quietly and opened my large wingspan, making sure I didn't hit any trees, and took off into the air. I wished that I could comfort Sabrina, but it felt beyond my help, as it would be terribly hard. How could this happen? I quietly hoped in the back of my mind that no one was following me. I needed some time to myself, and didn't want anything to do with talking for now. Shoving my wings down hard, I frowned and tried to speed up, trying to get as remote and far away as possible from the flock until I felt tired enough to land and find some place to sleep for the night, and in the morning, I would probably head back. For now, I was just going to fly until I felt like my wings were going to drop off.

Sabrina felt hot tears leak from her eyes and hated herself for them. She had never cried...EVER. She felt like screaming. She hardly even noticed when Jack left. The rest of the flock looked at her, compeletly silent. Epsilon ran to her and Sabrina hugged him close to her chest. Her little 8 year old son! Edward twitched as Peter removed Boots from the straps and took her over to Sabrina. Sabrina sobbed as Boots took the information from her mind and, very maturly, stroked her mothers blonde hair, which made Sabrina sob even harder

Coyote licked the blood on his chops as he finished off the rabbit. After finding the group of avians, he had decided to put as much distance as possible between himself and them. Where there was bird kids, there where Erasers. And Coyote knew that if the School got him back, he would pay dearly for what he'd done. He flicked his tail, stood up, and began the dig. He buried the rabbit bones and cleaned up the evidence of his kill. Coyote's throat was dry after not having anything to drink for two days. Hope there's a pond or something around here.. he thought as he took off at a trot. His ears swiveled forward when he heard the noise of a stream nearby. Ah ha! When he could hear that he was close the the brook, he stuck his head out behind a tree and looked around to see if anyone was there. The coast was clear, so Coyote emerged from the brush and padded up to the bank. He drank his fill and was about to sit down when an unfamiliar scent wafted from the sand. Girl. Feathers. Blood. And something faintly canine... his body instinctively tensed. Eraser. Definitely Eraser. What else could that possibly be? Resisting the urge to growl, Coyote began to follow the scent. The wind was flowing towards him, so he knew that the Eraser wouldn't be able to smell him. And his steps were so quite that they rivaled the stealth of a cougar. Coyote's reddish pelt prickled. She is not far away, and moving. But why would an Eraser be alone? He slowed his steps when he knew he was getting closer. At least, if she sees me, she won't know I'm an avian. I'm the only coyote the School's ever made, and for good reason. So unless she's out to get me, she shouldn't kill me. Unless she's hungry...
