Andre smiled, nodding in agreement. "I love you too, Amber." He smiled truthfully.

Jordyn squealed, flailing her arms as she was pulled backward, crashing into the water. She surfaced, spitting out water and laughing. She pushed her wet hair out of her face, smiling softly. She dove under, swimming around behind Damon. She giggled quietly, dunking him down and throwing her legs over his shoulders so she would be hoisted up.

Damon grinned when he felt her legs over his shoulders, knowing what she was doing. He reached up with both hands and held on to her upper legs, then pushed hard to the surface, clearing it a few feet before settling back down, his shoulders above the water, and Jordyn almost clear of it. He blew his soaked hair out of his eyes, then looked up at Jordyn, a crooked grin on his face. "How's the view up there?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jordyn smiled. "Sunny. With a slight breeze." she said, laughing quietly. She wrapped her arms lightly around Damon's neck for support, just so she didn't fall off. "Eh, screw it." she said and did some sort of back-flip off him and into the water. She surfaced and laughed slightly, pushing the dark hair out of her eyes.

Damon chuckled, on the verge of laughter, but then turned when she resurfaced after sliding off of his shoulders, a smirk on his face. His eyes studied her face intently, taking in the dark, soaked hair that delicately framed her face, the one strand that fell over one of her eyes. "You don't like riding on my shoulders?" he asked skeptically, arching an eyebrow at her.

Jordyn shrugged. "Maybe I do, maybe I don't." she replied simply, a devilish, yet amused smile upon her face. "I prefer not having to hold on to someone anyway." she added, sinking down into the water. She fell onto her knees, leaving from her shoulders up out of the water.

Damon returned her smile, and then watched as she sank down to her knees in the water. He crossed his arms over his chest, and pursed his lips. "You wouldn't of had to hold on," he countered, fighting a chuckle. "I would've held on to you." His eyes flickered over her face again, wondering how one single being could be so divinely beautiful.

Jordyn's smile disappeared, her eyes clouding over. She sighed. "No matter how hard one holds on, there's always the risk of falling... Some choose to take the risk, and end up flying high. Others fall beneath the depths of things they could never imagine. Some refuse to take the risk and nothing ever happens..." she murmured quietly, just audibly enough. In truth, she wasn't talking about actually, physically falling. No, she was talking about the risk of falling when it comes to love. Some fly high, but others fall, and some do not take the risk. Sadly, she had taken the risk and fallen farther down than she thought possible.

Damon watched her with concern, his expression immediately becoming serious as her tone did. He waited until she'd finished, and then slowly sank down to her level, on his own knees; even then, he was a few inches taller than she was. He hesitated, then reached up, gently tucking the loose strand of hair behind her ear, his eyes meeting hers. "And some are built to catch the fallers," he murmured, keeping his eyes locked to hers for a few seconds. He slowly took his hand away, and broke the eyes contact to look out on the ocean, the endless horizon.

Jordyn couldn't help but smile small. "And some who are built to catch the fallers, can catch them before they fall anymore, and raise them to heights they never imagined." she replied softly, looking down to a small fish swimming around her in confusion.

Damon felt a small smile turn a corner of his lips as well, and turned his head back to face Jordyn, the slight smile still there. "But even the catchers can fall, if the right fallen comes to them." His smile widened for a moment, his eyes searching hers, before his gaze turned down to the fish as well, a small chuckle pushing to escape his throat at the sight of the confusion.
