Damon chuckled at her words, and again at her curtsy, before gesturing grandly with his arm and bowing low to the ground. When he straightened, his muscles rippling, a grin was pasted on his face. "Don't lie to yourself," he corrected, then smiled again, moving forward and extending his well-muscled arm, opening his hand for her to shake. "I'm Damon. I'm very pleased to meet you, Miss Jordyn."

Jordyn, smiling, reach out her hand to gently grab his. She shook lightly, then slid away. "Nice to meet you, too." she said with a slight giggle at his gentlemanliness. She crossed her arms again, fluttering her glittery eyelashes slightly as she blinked. (I felt the need to say 'blunk' lol.) She sighed, looking around. "In truth, I'd rather not be here. But my parents-- Er, my vampire-parents... Thought it would be 'good' for me to make friends with others of 'our kind'. Frankly, I'd rather make vampire friends without travelling to a stupid island. Ugh, enough about me. What do you think about this place?" she said softly, raising a slim eyebrow at her ending quesiton.

Damon grinned at her giggle, feeling a slight spark of electricity when their hands touched. He blinked, enchanted by her long, fluttering eyelashes, her melodic giggle, her sharp wit and sense of humore. He refocused on her softly-spoken words and grinned again, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning back on his heels. "I agree with you completely," he answered, his eyes flickering to the wide ocean for a moment, which framed Jordyn perfectly, like a custom-made backdrop. "I never wanted to come here. But, I guess I could give this place a try. There might be things worth my time here, aside from, obviously, you." He smiled a bit at his last sentence.

Jordyn shrugged, smiling lightly. "Just wait, you'll learn that I'm really not worth it." she said gently, her smile beginning to fade. "Trust me, I've been told many times I'm not worth it. I've been told I'm not even worth listening to, or meeting, or talking to, or anything..." she said with a sigh.

Damon frowned slightly at her words, and took a few steps closer, hesitating before he reached out and touched her shoulder. He absolutely loathed seeing such a beautiful, enchanting girl have her happiness taken away. "What idiots told you that?" he asked, keeping his tone carefully under control. "Whoever said that doesn't know a thing, Jordyn. I believe that you are worth my time, and I hardly know you."

Jordyn blushed lightly. "Thanks... Thats what my ex told me when we met... And now he's just one of the stupid pictures I light on fire and never remember again... Besides, he's one of the many who say I'm not worth wasting breath." she said, a heavy tinge of regret in her voice. "But, why think about those jerks when I can talk to you?" she commented, her smile returning.

Damon watched her blush in wonder, noting how it delicately highlighted her cheeks, made her flashing eyes seem darker, her whole expression become that much more enchanting. He smiled despite himself, then sighed, slowly taking his hand away from her shoulder, where he'd almost forgotten he'd had it. "Well, your ex isn't a very smart man, that's for sure." His face grew slightly serious, and his eyes flickered over her face, taking in her words, and her appearance. "If he let a girl like you go." He shrugged slightly, then smiled again, crossing his arms over his chest. "It seems we have all the time in the world. Anything you fancy doing, Miss Jordyn?"

Jordyn smiled, rolling her eyes playfully at how he had called her, 'Miss Jordyn' again. She tapped a slim finger to her full glossy lips, thinking. "Hmm... Well, hunting is always fun. And then theres swimming in this beautiful ocean, playing Truth or Dare, or Would You Rather, or hanging out, or... Well, I'm game for anything." she said, shrugging.

Damon grinned at her suggestion of hunting, and even wider at her suggestion of swimming. "We can do a mix of swimming and hanging out," he suggested, a bit of devious mischeivance in his eyes. "If you wouldn't rather do something else."

"Sounds good to me." Jordyn replied, smiling. "I have my bathing suit on under my dress." she said, turning and jogging off to the water's edge. Once there, she slid her dress off over her head, revealing a multi-colored, revealing bikini. She looked over her shoulder, smiling. "C'mon!" she called, rushing into the warm water, laughing.

Damon's eyes widened slightly at the sight of Jordyn in a bikini, and he felt his jaw loosen, almost drop. He shut his mouth before Jordyn turned to look at him, and grinned in reply, tugging at the hem of his shirt and slipping it over his head, revealing his broad, muscled chest, his toned and tanned arms. He had already been wearing swimming trunks, so he was perfectly set already. He ran after her, then laughed out loud when he too crashed into the waves. He wrapped an arm around her waist from behind and tugged, pulling them both over into a water-tackle.
