Jeff sighed, nodding his head.

Belinda woke up screaming from a nightmare.

"If you're hungry Riley brought down a buck, it isn't that far into the forest and you should be able to track down the scent," Dexter told them, "it's fresh so it's close to as filling as human, I'm getting off human myself," he sighed. He looked down at Riley with worry, "I really have to get her back to the apartment so I can stop this bleeding." he set off.

Tory nodded, "Thanks." she murmered, then pulled on Benjamin's arm. Benjamin was looking at the wound at the moment, but being pulled by Tory knocked him out of his trance. He shook his head and nodded, then set off into the woods with Tory trailing along behind him.

Riley groaned, turning her head to rest against Dexter shoulder, trying anything to block out the pain. She opened her eyes slow, then immediatly regretted it since it reminded her of her pounding headache. She tried to stay awake for abit longer but then darkness greated her and she was out again.

Tom sighed, nodding his head.

((Hm... Don't you mean 'Jeff?' because you aren't on Roses, you're on Lilies. he he he...))

"Really?" Jace asked. "I guess that's okay. I usually just fight with weapons, but..." He got up, putting a hand through his dirty blond hair. He was in his old clothes again. "What do I do?"

Roia thought for a moment on Mike's question. "Maybe you could help keep me upright on the roof. It won't be that hard. Do you have any experience with electrical work?" Her aunt that raised them was into construction, so Roia had learned from her how to work three way switches, and various other forms of construction. She didn't want that to be her vocation, however.

"Well, normally everyone is in a line and a command is given and they do a kick, block, punch, or sparing form. We can do that or you can learn sparing." Lily said as she watched Jace.

"No," Mike chuckled, "but I can definitely help make sure you don't make another dent in the ground," he reassured her, smiling a bit.


Kaylee finished with the dog and sat back, while her hunger was settled a bit she felt disgusted with herself at what she had just done. She felt like throwing up and had to turn her head away from the dog before she actually did, she was sorely tempted to, but she also had enough sense to know that would just bring the hunger back worse.


Dexter hurried to the apartment at the sound of Riley's groan, he had to carefully balance her as he opened the door and slipped inside, then hurried to pull the blanket off the couch and lay her on it gently. Then ran to grab the things he would need to get the bleeding to stop and bandage the wound, he hoped his one time fascination with anything medical would help him in stitching the wound, and he was worried about how much blood she had lost, there weren't exactly anyone to help give her a blood transfusion if she needed one.


Jeff took off back to the room at the sound of Belinda's scream, not pausing as he opened the door and ran over to her, "Are you okay?" he asked, looking around for the cause of her scream.

Belinda clutched onto Jeff, crying her little heart out. "They came back" she cried.

Riley stirred when she felt herself being layed down, causing her eyes to slowly flutter open. She turned her head weakly to the side and looked around, it took a minute to realize where she was. She shivered slightly and turned her head to the side again to look at her shoulder, which was mangled.

"Shhh, shhh, it was just a nightmare," Jeff mumbled to Belinda as he hugged her back.


Dexter returned with bandages, water, and disinfect, he cursed silently that he didn't have any thread that was suitable to stitch up a wound, he would have to settle for cleaning the wound and bandaging it and later on going to raid the local hospital. He knelt down beside Riley, seeing that she was awake he sighed, "You'll be fine," he reassured both himself and her, looking at her shoulder with a bit of fear in his eyes, he didn't know if he could help her, but he prayed he would be able to.

Belinda cried into Jeff's shirt as she tried to wipe away her tears.
