"What tree" Belinda asked as she sat the plate beside her.

Dexter chuckled, "That might be good for your health,"he smiled as he looked over at her, then ducked off into the forest on the side of the road, laughing quietly as he ran ahead seeing whether or not she would be able to catch up.

Riley was about to reply back, but he had already ran into the woods. She growled slightly in frustration before taking off after him, picking up more speed with each step, "Maybe a warning next time!" she yelled out as she saw him a couple of paces ahead.

"It wouldn't be fun then," he called back laughing as he turned, running right.

Belinda looked at Jeff before she went to the edge of the counter. She started to get down.

Jeff stood and helped her down, "It's a tree that Nomi goes to." he told her, not sure how to explain or what to say.

((I'd like that, Rick meets Belinda, hehehehe. Rick becomes more and more of an idiot every day, but Kat will awaken some smarts in him. I also want her to meet up with Jace and Lily and the others there, just to add some tension. Just realized: that Rick and Belinda both have wealthy families.))

Kat walked ahead of her ex-boyfriend. She didn't really like the taste of animal, but besides Rick, she didn't sense any humans around. So she guessed that animal would have to do. "What's this girl like?"

"Oh, she's about my age, maybe a little older, and didn't know she was a zombie. I found her on the ground, and she almost ate a rat." Rick said this like he was commenting on the weather.

"I... see." Kat tensed, hearing something. "Shh... I smell something."

Rick tried to hide his laughter as Kat glared at him. "Sorry, that was..." He heard a growl and they both looked in the direction of the noise.

A dog walked out, growling and hungry. Patches of fur were torn off, and it looked rabid.

"I think we should put it out of its misery, don't you think?" Kat asked.

"But it's a dog!" Rick protested. "And it doesn't look very appetizing."

"Zombies can't be choosers. Would you rather cut down a bunny?" She watched as Rick chewed on a fingernail; a habit which he only did when he was thinking.

"Okay, but you kill it." He decided finally.

"Wuss." Before Rick could rebut her, she grabbed the dog and broke its neck, killing it quickly.

"I-I... Did you just... Oh..." It was too much for Rick, he fell backward in shock. "Did I really just see that?"

"Come on, before your zombie girl finds a human to prey on." Kat helped him up. "You never used to be this weak."

"You never used to be this straightforward. I guess being a zombie changed you?"

"What do you think? A certain someone helped me more then that." The two walked in silence for a while.

Rick finally decided to break it. "Was it Darrian?"

Kat gasped. "How did you... how could you have..." She stammered all over herself.

"I'm not as stupid as I look. Now, let's get back to Kaylee." Rick ran ahead of her, showing her which path to take.

That was a quick answer, Jace thought. At least I don't have to worry about her mincing words. But what am I supposed to say? Jace also wondered if she imagined that it was a specific person she was destroying, instead of a dummy. He didn't really want to ask. "That's cool," he settled on.

Roia sat up, dazed. She felt her body regenerating itself. "I-I'm fine. I just fell off the roof. Just... just give me a second." She took in a deep breath. "That hasn't happened before..." She blushed slightly. She didn't like embarrassment.

"Oh" Belinda said as she looked around. She hugged her stuff bunny that she hadn't put down yet.

Lily nodded as she did a higher kick and she easily snapped the piece of wood holding the dummy up. She sighed before she finished the dummy off. She had power to her kicks and punches. No one was to the neck.

Riley smirked slightly and slid to a stop, then turned in the other direction and ran. If he wanted a chase, well, he was going to get one. Riley leaped up and mid run and grabbed ahold of a branch, grunting slightly as she swung herself up onto it, "I'm getting to old for this." she muttered under her breath with a small chuckle as she kept on going.

"It happens to the best of us," Mike chuckled at her blush, "I'm just glad that you're alright." he looked at the dent in the ground and winced, "that must have hurt."


Kaylee was still curled up on the blanket on the ground, her stomach growling. She winced and looked up, hoping Rick would be back soon before she really did lose control of her self like she had almost done with the rat, but this time with Rick. She sat up and leaned her head back on the wall, hugging her knees to herself and crying out. It felt as if something was trying to claw it's way from her stomach as it growled.


Dexter looked around when he couldn't hear Riley anymore, worried sparked in his eyes, "Riley?" he called before scenting out her smell and following running quickly, confused since he didn't have a strong scent to follow, as if she was running on the ground.
