Blood Lillies - [ Zombie/Human]

Riley growled and lunged out, quickly making her way over the deer and snapping its neck, basically twisting the deer's head all the way into the opposite direction. Her eyes darted to Dexter and noticed his arm, her zombie mode fading slightly when she noticed he was hurt.

Dexter sat back with a sigh as he watched his skin start to knit itself together, he rubbed the now unmarked skin, looking over at Riley and tilting his head, waiting for her to start on the deer.

Riley eyed him, her zombie side coming back again because of the smell of fresh kill. She narrowed her eyes and growled in warning to back off, this was her food. She dug in, eyeing him warily from the corner of her eyes while she ate.

Dexter sighed and backed away, sitting down under a tree, his stomach argued at his movement away from the fresh scent of kill but he ignored it, leaving the deer for Riley.

Riley finished awile later, sitting down and wiping off the blood from her mouth with her sleeve. She managed to stay alittle more cleaner then before, but it still was a messy job and you couldn't change it.

Dexter watched Riley as she finished with the deer, then stood, offering a smile, looking over the deer as he debated whether or not there was enough left to make a snack of, then sighed and stood, heading toward the scent of water so that Riley could really wash off. He would have to go hunting for himself before they went looking for Riley's family but first things first was to look after her.

Riley slipped out of zombie mode and looked dazed for a second, before blinking and coming back to her senses. She glanced at the deer which still had some meat left on it, then looked at Dexter, "Dexter, arn't you going to eat?" she asked, noticing that he hasn't eaten in awile from his grumbling stomach.

Dexter stopped and thought about it for a second before nodding and walking back over to her. Uncertain if he really wanted to risk her going zombie and defending her kill, brushing that thought away he bent down to the nearly gone deer copse and started to eat, devouring it.

Riley watched him, narrowing her eyes once and a small growl slipped past her lips, but she didn't make a move to stop him from eating. A deep part inside her wanted to rip him to pieces since he was eating her kill, but she managed to keep herself in check and hold back.

Dexter sat back with a sigh once he was done with the deer, stretching before he stood, trying to pertain he hadn't heard Riley growling at him. "Let's go get washed up a bit," he suggested before setting off toward the water scent again.
