"But Dexter, I expected much more out of you then going completely zombie on me, I trusted you." sighed Riley, down casting her eyes to look at the ground as her shoulders slumped slightly.

Dexter sighed quietly, "I'm sorry," he answered truthfully, "and I know that doesn't help anything, but I understand if you hate me, I would hate myself in your place." in fact, I hate myself now, he thought to himself.

Riley glanced up at him, offering him a sad smile, "Dexter, I couldn't hate you even if I tried." she murmered truthfully, sighing, "I just didn't expect to be change by my best friend." or more like crush, she added in her head.

Dexter sighed, nodding, "I didn't expect to bite you, but if I hadn't went into that mode all of us would have ended up dead."

Riley nodded, agreeing with him on that. She knew she couldn't stay angry at him, he was her best friend after all. Riley looked up and playfully glared at him, "You owe me big time." she murmered as a threat, the corners of her lips turning up into a grin.

Dexter chuckled, "Alright," he agreed and nodded, looking back at her, then at the road, relieved as they started into the city, "where are you staying?" he looked back at the boy and waited patiently.

The boy looked at Dexter, "Just drop me off where you found me, I left my stuff there. I can find my way home after that." he replied back.

"Alright," Dexter nodded uncertainly, "are you sure you'll be safe through?" he asked as he drove toward the building from earlier.

The boy nodded, "Yeah, i'll be fine, as long as someone doesn't hit me over the head again." he chuckled, looking around.

Dexter rolled his eyes, "Alright," he parked in front of the building, yawning slightly.
