Riley glanced up at him, then ducked her head slightly, smiling sheepishly, "Oops." she mumbled, biting her bottom lip slightly.

"No problem," Dexter chuckled and picked up the cooler by himself, cradling it in his arms as he set off for the car across the street.

Riley grabbed her stuff and followed after him, keeping a look out to see if anything was there or coming after them.

Dexter eased the trunk open and put the cooler inside, then walked back toward the apartment to grab his suitcase.

Riley threw her stuff into the back of the car, then shut the door. She leaned against the front and waited for Dexter to come back, glancing around often.

((So, I thought things would slow down after the first week of school, like usual, but apparently not. the week before last i was busy and all this week i have been sick, so sorry...but since things still aren't slowing down any someone can play Nomi while I'm not on.))

Nomi looked around, starting to feel a little uncomfortable, as they walked through the door and rubbed her arms when she had a cold chill.

"I guess it's good to be food then." Jace shrugged. "Sorry... being 'human' and all, it's hard to accept that you're now the main diet for most of the world's civilization." It was harsh, and he knew, but that didn't matter to him anymore.

Aaron continued to push her. "Isn't this cool?"

"If that's okay with everyone else." Roia stopped the swinging, dragging her feet on the ground. How many children had visited this playground? And how many of them never would again?

"I'm good with that." Vince jumped off the swing, staggering slightly, but caught his fall. "Which way?"

"Um... I think it's this way..." Roia pointed, getting off the swing.

"I guess this expert-level guitarist will have to teach you! So long as it doesn't annoy you. Because most girls I know hate playing guitar hero..." Rick smiled at Kaylee.

"Who?" a voice called out behind them. "Someone like me, maybe?"

Rick nearly jumped out of his skin and turned around. "Oh... Kat... it's you. Don't scare me like that!"

Kat laughed. "You really are a doll, aren't you Rick?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Rick looked at Kat, innocent.

She smirked. It had been a while since she'd actually been able to do something like this with Rick.

Dr. Toan walked out of his room, and upon seeing Abby, he looked at her curiously. "You seem to have been dragged into all of this..."

Lily sighed before she shrugged "I know. I still have trouble accepting it. Eat raw cow meat is gross enough at looks, but it taste good. If-if I were to ever eat someone, dead or live, I don't think I could live with it. I'm only like this because of Amber in more the one way. One, I wasn't leaving her alone, not that I blame her. And two, I would have ate you by now if it hadn't been for Amber."

Amber nodded with a smile on her face. She glanced at Aaron. "Having fun yourself?" she asked.

Dexter walked back out of the apartment, locking the door behind him before setting off back downstairs, carrying his suitcase. He stopped outside, looking around before walking over to Riley, "Ready?" he asked, tossing his things into the back beside Riley's things before opening the driver's side.


"Are you alright?" Jeff asked looking over at Nomi with worry in his eyes.


"Yep," Abby sighed, nodding, "I think I keep getting forgotten."


Kaylee looked between the two of them, then at Rick again, "I would be happy to learn." she smiled, tilting her head, then frowning, How did I know I suck at guitar hero? she asked herself, confused.


"Okay," Mike stopped his swing before standing, looking over at Roia as he waited for her to lead the way.

Nomi gave him a small nod, "Yeah, I'm fine...just had a really weird cold chill." she said, looking at him and then looked away when she sneezed.
