((Reddy, I have a question. How long does it take for someone to act like a new zombie after someone has bitten them? Is it instantaneous or can they go all like "I'm going to be a zombie! Ahhh! I'll never be able to eat *insert favorite human food here* again!" Cause I'd rather that it'd be the second... Because I've got plans to enhance the drama at my special little hospital!! Ahahaha!))

[ The zombies came there senses back after a week at the beginning(on the first post), but there's always special cases and all, so feel free to do the second ^.^ ]

Mike raised an eyebrow at Vince when he kissed Roia on the hand, "I'm Mike Carter." he answered simply, folding his arms across his chest, feeling a tid-bit jealous.


"He ate chocolate when he woke up," Kaylee answered the doctor, "he was also feeling well enough to try to kill Jace." she shrugged, not sure how to describe his condition.


"Then let's head to your tree," Jeff smiled at Nomi.

Jina ducked her head at Benjamin's yelling, "I couldn't just let someone be eaten...." she mumbled.


Dexter hurried to catch up to Riley, not looking at the dead zombies.

((So, the human immediately acts like a "new" zombie after the person is bitten. Is that right? Because that's what I asked...))

"No way..." Vince paused. "Mike Carter? Dude where've ya been! You moved away, and now you don't even know me! You've changed, man!"

Roia blinked. "You two know each other?"

"Yeah," Vince said. "We went to middle school together, before he moved. Why didn't you call me? I gave you my number didn't I?"

Roia felt confused... first this guy flirted with her, and now he's all over talking wiht Mike? She didn't understand it.

"I'm happy for you." Aaron put his arms under his pillow. "At least you're not sick all of the time. But you can't really walk, so..."

"Interesting..." Dr. Toan looked at him. "I think he's just fatigued. But considering how you kids are always running around from zombies, you'd eventually pass out from everything, right?" He looked over to Kaylee. "So, you're Kaylee. How were you changed into a zombie?"

Jace felt a little third--or in this case, fifth--wheelish, so he just sat their, wondering what he should do.

"Oh, Jason? I'm glad he's alive. It makes it more fun for me." Kat laughed. "He came here with you, right? Thanks for taking care of him for me."

Amber sighed "Sorry about you always being sick." She looked at the ground.

Lily rolled her eyes before she said "I wasn't taking care of him for you." She bit her tongue not meaning to say that.

"Vince!" recognition filled Mike's face, "I can't believe I didn't recognize you but you didn't recognize me either," Mike rolled his eyes, smiling at his old friend, choosing to ignore the call question.


Kaylee shrugged, "I don't remember anything to do with being changed, I just woke up not that long ago and Rick helped me."

"I see." Tip looked into his doctor equipment. It was Jace that spoke next.

"Rick's favorite hero was Disney's Hercules. He dressed up as him for halloween one year, and his parents couldn't get the costume off. He made Jess dress up as Meg too. Can you guys who I was? Hades. I think I still had that blue wig somewhere at the old house. Even though Kat always wanted to be Meg, so there were two of them, one with rather pink, flamboyant hair." Rick laughed at the fact that Kat had tried to dye her hair, and had turned it pink. "He still cares about that. I'm sure he thought that he was saving you or something, considering that you didn't remember anything, and helped you out. He's that kind of person."

"Thanks Jace, you're so kind. I didn't know you still had the wig." Rick said, smiling, eyes still shut.

"You were awake the whole time?" Jace asked.

"No, but I woke up while you were talking about Hercules. I decided to stay 'asleep' while you talked about me." Rick opened his eyes and looked up at Kaylee. "You could probably pull of a pretty good-looking Meg."

"That's cuz you're so tall, dude! How'd you get that big?" Vince was rather short, only about two inches taller than Roia. "How'd you get this fine lady with you?"

"We crossed paths... and it just went on from there." Roia said calmly.

"I see. So that's how it works." Vince looked at his friend.

"It's okay, I'm used to it. I guess it's the same with you not walking." Aaron looked over at Amber.

"Reeeeeeally?" Kat asked. "Then why were you hanging out with my guy? Just for curiosity's sake. He seems a bit... attached to you. I wonder why, since you're about Jess's age. I guess he just saw you as his little sister."

Amber nodded though she looked at the floor. "Yea though I sometimes wish I could walk" she said.

Lily rolled her eyes. "Maybe he actually likes me" she said.

Kaylee smiled and blushed at Rick, "I'm sure you were a cute Hercules." then looked back at Jace, "He didn't just think he was saving me, I would have died truthfully if he hadn't found me, or worse," she shuddered when she remembered what Kat had said about going on a rampage and killing everything in sight.


Mike chuckled, "You're still the same shorty I see." he stuck out his tongue at Vince, smiling at finding an old friend.

"Oh you think so?" Kat asked, challenging Lily. "He's always been mine, even when we were little. Why do you think you stand a chance?" She didn't like it when people tried to take her throne, or her boys. Especially one she was planning to eat.

"Not funny Michael. At least I don't hit my head on doors." Vince run a hand through his red-brown hair. "I'm kind of sick of this place of shut-upness. So, I guess I'll join you guys. Where do you want to go?"

"I just got here." Roia countered.

"It's not that good company. We could just go to some Mcdonalds or something and talk there. It's be better that way. All the girls here are anti-romance anyway. You look different from them." Vince was one of those guys that hooked up easy, and gave a cheezy line whenever necessary.

"Yeah, she was starving when I got to her. Good thing I was there, right?" Rick sat up. "Where's the rest of that chocolate?"

"I'd recommend eating some of the better food, like the canned beans." Tip said, looking at a labled can.

"Okay, whatever the Doc orders." Rick waited for Kaylee to serve something up. He had felt a bit better, but he wasn't fully recovered.

Jace rolled his eyes. Of course he'd be like that. But what were best friends for? "So, do you want ZombieHunt back still?" he asked.

"I've got through enough zombie encounters to last a life time." Rick paused. "No offense..." He said quickly to Kaylee.

"I hope that maybe you could have one of those cool walking things that you can use." Aaron smiled. "I saw them on TV once."

"Yea, I'm sure" Lily said as she watched Kat. She moved closer and smirked "At every dance you ended up dancing with almost every guy, but last night Jace was might with Abby and Amber watching." She knew this could turn out bad, but she didn't care.
