I chuckle as the knife sails by " alright, point taken." I say, shrugging and taking up a sword " need a sparing partner?" I ask curiously.

" Depends. Are you suicidal?" I glare, grabbing the knives i threw at the dummy.

I smile, sheathing the sword in my weapons belt " alright, alright, i'll leave you to train." I say, heading for the door " I've destroyed enough dummies today. besides, I think everyone will be happier to have me outside of the house rather than in."

Cat:
I shrug and grab a sword. " Youll get use to it." I tell her, and swing the sword as hard as i can across the dummy's neck, slitting it straight, and watch it pop off.

I nod " that's true. I need to burn off some energy." I say and head out the door " have fun." I call back before heading down the hall, stopping by the kitchen down stairs and grabbing an apple before heading out of the institute.

I shrug and head over to the sparring dummy. I practice my kicks, and punches, than look at my watch,reading it was 7 am, i knew Derek would be arriving in my room soon, so i run up to meet him.
" You ready?" He asked. Derek was my best friend, has been for years, and ever since i found out about me being a shadowhunter he made me vow to train him to be like me so he could.. quote on quote.. "protect me".
" Only if you are." I smile and walk out the door, making sure nobody was near, i lead him downstairs and into the training room.

Alice looked around her room quite bored. She had yet to unpack and clean her room. She ran a hand through her hair before she threw on some jeans, black converse, and simple shirt. She threw on a beanie to hide her messy blonde hair under before she decided she was ready to leave her room. She had trapped herself up her hoping to take a long nap, but sleep wouldn't come. So she decided she would walk around town for a bit.

An hour or two later, Derek was already dripped in sweat, and had at least 10 new bruises.
" Okay, we should get going, people will be awaking soon." I told him. He nodded and we headed out the door, quietly shutting it. As we turned the corners, we were quit enough to not awaken anybody, but werent sly enough to miss someone coming around the corner, so we bumped into Alice. Were friends, but she still had no idea i was letting a mundane in the institute, let alone training one.
" ALice." I gasped.
