Velos peered out the window of the Apollo cabin in sadness. She thought seeing Storm and messing around in the dark would have cheered her up, but the nagging anticipation of capture the flag tomorrow ripped her apart. Her heart ached with fear and loneliness. She looked around the empty cabin, wondering where Jesse was. Not that she enjoyed being around him but she just wanted company.

She slipped back into her bed and straightened out her arsenal of weapons, sadness draped across her face. She stepped back outside glumly and sat down next to Jesse, silently. Her eyes had small traces of tears int hem as a soft breeze played with her hair. Her hand swept up to the side of her face, tucking a few strands behind her ear. The area between her eyebrows was pulled together tightly, as her brown eyes only showed absolute heartbreak as they stared blankly at the grass illuminated by the moon.

I jumped slightly as I felt hands slide over my eyes, interrupting my deep thought, though I smiled slightly when I figured out it was Simon. I let out a quiet laugh. "Hi." I said softly, looking up at him with a small smile. I grabbed his hands in mine to remove them from my face as I said this, lacing my fingers in between mine; noticing he was trembling. "Everything okay?" I asked tentatively, hoping the drama between the two cabins was dissolved. He could be worried or stressed from a number of things. I didn't want to invade, since I didn't really even have a place here, but I wanted to help if I could. I felt like I should, if it was for Simon.

I continued to sit, looking upwards to him with my almost-golden eyes. When he suggested going to the cabin, I nodded. "Unless you think there will be people there, now that dinner and the capture the flag stuff is situated." I rethought the nod, and wondered if we could just stay here. If the others were in bed, we would be alone here anyway, right?

Simon treasured that moment there and took a deep breath in, savoring it to the full extent.His fingers linked with hers. His eyes closed peacefully , a serene smile across his usually stressed face. He sat on the step next to Bee and held his hand that was interlocked with hers, between the two.

Simon took in a short breath at the notice of his fear and looked at the ground, his arms pulled across his chest, putting up his defenses. He looked to the ground at the side, his eyes wide, clearly unhappy with the fact he had not hidden his emotions well enough. Simon's face gradually tightened up to the point it appeared he was scowling.You should be allowed to know.Simon said not continuing, as if he was thinking. He kept flinching, uncomfortable with the thoughts of the past. He weighed the pros and cons, not coming up with each for either side, tapping his fingers anxiously. Closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath, he turned back to Bee, with distress coating every part of his body and shining through like beacon, as clear as day. He was absolutely silent as he looked at the demigod in front of him, regretting his decision to tell her.
