Taiv Jeffery - 14 - District 8
I tossed my spear over to my backpack and put my knives in my pocket before going over to the hole in the ceiling of the cave. I had guessed that the girl - Soriya - would've definitely figured out Coal wasn't alone down here, so I wasn't nervous to speak up. "My name's Taiv, from District 8," I said before I jumped up and pulled myself out of the hole to help set the trap again.

"I'm just happy to be alive. My mentor said I had too big of a mouth to make allies. My mentor also figured I would die right away, sooo...." Jennifer-Anne said with a shrug. She was telling the truth, her mentor convinced her that she would be dead already.

Soriya
She nodded, they were all from high number districts. Most people would call that a disadvantage, but they were all smarter because of having to deal with tough situations on a daily basis. She smiled as the girl came out, then put her bow on her back. She liked Coal's trap, and was glad that there were three of them, because if one tried to kill another, there would always be someone to stop them.
Raffin
"That's kind of sad," he said, thinking about what it would be like if everyone told you you were going to die right away. He stared down into the water. It was fairly clear, and he wondered if it was pure. He wasn't going to test it, but if he was ever stuck without any pure water, he would probably come here.

"I don't really think of it like that. I just think that every living moment I have is a good on," Jennifer-Anne said. She smiled happily and a thought hot her. That is really how everyone should live, thinking every moment is a good one.

Raffin
He smiled, "Yeah, that's a good way to think about it," he said. He started thinking about it. At first he thought it was awful being hit with a spear, but it seems way better than death. Jennifer-Anne was really smart for thinking of that.

Coal

"Alright so what can we improve exactly? I know I can find a squirrel to kill, I found and killed one earlier. Oh and I need to leave out the poisoned bread and knife and small bag again.." He said half to them and half to himself as he undid the trap. Then he had to climb down and set the bag and stuff in a messy pile, careful to not touch the poisoned objects by using a piece of ripped cloth from his shirt. He wanted it messy to make it look more as a carefree tributes camp, a tribute who was gone too. And one who wouldn't return in a while. He looked at Soriya,"Take your arrows and shoot down a squrriel for me, please, while I finish this up." He instructed. He wanted to knock off a few more tributes before unleashing his big plan to end the game and maybe make one of them a victor, if it didn't kill them first.

Soriya
She nodded, then began to walk through the jungle. She was still, as she looked and listened for a squirrel. She heard a small rustling next to her, about ten feet away. She drew her bow, and aimed. She pulled the string back, and released it, sending it flying at the small animal. It hit, right in the head, so she grabbed it, and headed back to their camp. She pulled out one of her knives and skinned it halfway, letting the blood fall onto the ground, making it look like there was a fight.

"I'll tie up the trap again," I offered before climbing my way up the tree again. It didn't hurt on the climb up this time, nor the way down once I had finished. I also grabbed the second water bottle I had got and the Cornucopia and filled it with water. Instead of purifying it, I handed it to Coal. "You can also use this to put with the fire."

Coal

"Thanks. Oh and do you have a purifier tablet to spare? I got a purifier machine but not tablet, and I have a plan for it. I'll purify the water but it still won't be safe to drink." He said with a grin that showed he was scheming ahead just again.
He walked off and found a plant. Pretty and moving toward him. Poisonous too. He grabbed a throwing knife from his belt and tossed it at the plants stem. It cut the stem with ease and the plant relaxed and dropped on the ground. He picked up his knife and the plant then returned hoping they had a tablet to use. Or put out at least. The captured tribute wouldn't know what hit them stumbling on this camp. It wouldn't look suspicious at all. And with no need for allies this time he'd make sure to kill his opponent, and of course take whatever they had and reset the trap. It could kill off a few tributes until they started to figure it out. Then he'd bring out the big one. The big plan, he returned with the flower. "You got that purifying tablet?" He asked.

"Sure, I've got one in my bag." I replied. Once he went off, I went back down into the cave. I grabbed a couple tablets and the other water bottle, which was now empty. When I pulled myself back up, I had time to fill the other water bottle and drop the tablet in before Coal returned with a dead, and poisonous, plant in hand. "Yeah, here," I responded, handing him the tablet.
