Verth resisted the near overwhelming urge to laugh harshly. Instead he contented himself with simply smiling. "He has plenty of doubt, I can tell that much easily." He said, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall. "After all, he did just meet you last night and isn't sure if you're just stringing him along or not." He paused for a moment. "However, he is willing to cautiously hope that he can love you without it backfiring in his face." Verth shrugged slightly. "So far you don't seem to be much of a charity case to him, as you are able to at least appear to stand on your own decently, or pretend to, so he doesn't view you as such like he would others."
"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more:
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
"Life is as tedious as a twice-told tale,
Vexing the dull ear of a drowsy man."
"And this our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks,
Sermons in stones, and good in everything."
