HTTYD RP: Dragonwings (Always Accepting)

Pandora woke with a start. She heard the knocking and opened the door. "Yes, what do you need?" She asked straightening her hair.

Phoenix was confused. /'Guard the ship?'/ she thought, /What would want to attack this boat?/ she went back to sleep but kept listening for anything suspicious.

[Moonlitstars]

(okay it's night now right? dark out and such?)

Max held a lantern up to see better. "Sorry... I'm just letting ya know I'm going to sleep. The boat's anchored, and we'll reach the island by noon tomorrow," he said quietly. He scratched the back of his head nervously. "I'm sorry if I upset ya earlier..."

"Okay, great. I'll see you in the morning then." Pandora paused while shutting her door, choosing her words. "No, I'm the one who should be apologizing. I'm the one who's been acting weirdly. I... just. I'm not used to such big changes in such a small amount of time. I literally got to Berk and about two or three days later I'm with you on this ship and I can't fathom how fast the time passed between them. I'll be better in the morning. I need to get some sleep and so should you. Good night."

Max wanted to say something, but her door closed and he was standing there like an idiot. He sighed and stepped over to his own room. The light illuminated the old map above his bed. And the old chest in the corner held almost everything he owned. He lay on the bed and drifted to sleep.'

The anchor was raised and the sun had just risen, with the crisp morning air blowing past him. He smiled as the boat sailed over the waters. He felt happier this morning, in a better mood. He had woken at dawn and immediately set sail again. The sky was only just disappearing with its orange colour, and changing to blue. It was a beautiful day. He tried to keep quiet for his sleeping passenger.

Pandora woke up when the ship started to move, but stayed in her room. An hour later, she gathered the courage to go see Max. "Hey, have a good night sleeping?" she said to both Phoenix and Max.

Max smiled when he noticed the girl was awake. He just nodded with a wide grin. "Come here, look." He pointed out to the ocean, the beautiful day unfolding before them. "Isn't it beautiful?"

Pandora went up next to Max and saw the sky changing colors. She hugged Max after a minute. "Thank you so much for letting me come with and I'm sorry if I made you regret this at all." She loved the sight he had shown her.

Max froze she hugged him, he had not been expecting that. He hugged her back though. His face he was sure went pink and then he looked awkward when she let go. "No, no... I don't regret it." He smiled, usually he was unused to physical contact . "I just hope you don't. But it doesn't look like ya do." He took a deep sigh, "sadly it's not always this perfect."

"How is it not perfect?" Pandora asked.

"Rainy days, storms, bad customers..." he chuckled. "And sometimes there are tidal dragons... hooo you don wanna be round when those things come for tha ship."
