Amaya was walking along a road; an unknown road to her, to be exact. She was peering down at a map as she walked. Her first Pokemon, a female Zangoose who had been named Kiya, walked beside her on all fours. The Zangoose was a shiny, gifted to Amaya by her father. Occasionally the Zangoose gave her trainer a skeptical glance; she couldn't believe that the girl had gotten lost. Amaya finally realized the incredulous glances she was receiving. She looked away, puffing out her cheeks, which were now painted a soft pink.

"Okay, so we're lost. But I'll find a city, okay?"

Kiya looked away for a moment, before looking back at Amaya and giving an approving nod. No matter how tough the situation was, the trainer always found a way to solve or get out of it.

"But for now, let's find a resting place. We've been walking for about two hours now, and I'm pretty sure the others want to get out of their PokeBalls," Amaya added. She looked around and spotted a field. Hurriedly, she walked over to it, Kiya dashing along by her side. Pleased by their discovery, Amaya let out her other five Pokemon. She was against keeping them cramped up in their PokeBalls, but it made traveling convenient, and it reassured her that everyone was safe and were with her.

Her five other Pokemon were: Aya the Sylveon, Ryuu the Dragonite, Momo the Raichu, Yoru the Mightyena, and Yuki the Glaceon. They all had happy expressions on their faces, glad to finally be able to stretch their legs. Ryuu flew about, but made sure to remain in the area. Aya padded over to Amaya, who was sitting down cross-legged and watching over her Pokemon. The Sylveon rested her head in the girl's lap, which earned her soothing pats on the head as she dozed off. Momo was making little sparks, teasing Yoru and giving him little shocks. Yoru would snap at her, sometimes succeeding and giving the Raichu a sharp nip. Yuki hurried over, trying to calm down the two Pokemon, and scolding Momo. Kiya just looked around uneasily, alert for any signs of threats.

i stopped arcanine getting off him and following the large yet friendly pokemon towards the girl. i hadn't seen her before, and i was curious as to why she was watching me. "hello, do you need something?" i asked her, looking at arcanine as he sat down and watched the girl with suspicion. ofcourse i came off as kind of cold and suspicious but i didn't even know this girl and by the set of arcanine's body, to him she looked like trouble. charizard had wandered off and absol followed. he watched the large pokemon fly towards some other pokemon and a dragonite. absol though that this was going to be trouble and turned around taking off in search of me. he found me after a few minuets of searching and came up to me, tugging on my arm and swatting arcanine with a paw. i looked down at my trusty pokemon with a bit of a grin. "what is it absol, something the matter?" all i got was another paw to the side and watching him run off in the direction i had just came from. "sorry to cut this meeting short, but i need to go." i said getting back onto arcanine and following the pokemon back the way we came, arcanine looking annoyed.

Ryuu stopped short in flying when he saw a Charizard coming toward him as well as his other companions. He wasn't as cautious as Kiya was, but he was curious. "Hello there," he called, his voice steady. He tilted his head, his wings flapping to keep him up in the air. He remained in place, wondering what a Charizard was doing near here. The field wasn't occupied by any wild Pokemon, so was this a trainer owned Pokemon? Must be, the Dragonite thought.

Kiya was aware of a looming figure in the sky. Soon she recognized it as a Charizard. Her fur bristled slightly, her suspicious manner flaring. Zangoose weren't trusting by nature, and Kiya was a Zangoose who was very protective of her friends and Amaya. Her eyes narrowed as she looked up at the sky. Then she dashed over to Amaya, who had dozed off.

Hissing to wake her trainer, Kiya pointed to the Charizard. Ryuu had already noticed the Charizard and was greeting it with a carefree attitude, the exact opposite of what the Zangoose would have done. She would have launched an attack at the Charizard by now, but of course she didn't have wings and it was much too far away anyway.

Amaya woke up, rubbing her eyes. She yawned and stretched, resting her hand once again on Aya's head. "What's the matter?" she mumbled drowsily. Then she saw the Charizard. "Let it come," she told Kiya. "I think it's owned by a trainer. Hopefully it won't do any harm."

Lauren stared at the blonde boy and his Arcanine. "No, not really." She said. She felt Laurel the Liepard's ball shaking on her belt, she was trying to escape. "Stop it.." She muttered, staring down at the purple-and-blue Pokéball. "Um, your Absol's cute.." She said, trying to start a conversation. Lauren always envied Trainers with Absols. She wanted one herself, but she never found one. The boy spoke to his Absol, and then said "Sorry to cut this meeting short, but I need to go." Then climbed back on his Arcanine and ran off. "Bye.." She said, turned and walked away.

I followed absol as he lead the way, following charizard. I jumped off of charizard as he decided that attacking the trainer was a good idea. He landed only a few feet from them, yawning and glaring at the dragonite. He was going to pick a fight and I wasn't in the mood to end it. "Absol, arcanine, stop him before he hurts someone." I snapped moving some of my blonde hair out of my face, but keeping it over my right eye. Absol and arcanine advanced towards the group, eyes set on charizard. Absol was growling, while arcanine looked calm. Charizard turned to face them, and looked amused. He looked at me only to look away when his eyes had me my own, only mine were narrowed and angry, not happy and amused. He glared at the dragonite, feeling that emotion of rivalry. It was just something that charizard felt when he saw a dragonite. It was normal to him and very agitating to me. I sighed and moved my hand slowly thorough the air. Absol ran around in front of charizard, growling louder and getting into a defensive position. While arcanine stayed where he was, ready to attack or defend, depending on the route the shiny charizard took.

Ryuu looked at the Charizard, and simply chuckled. And it was not a positive chuckle, but a mocking one. "Getting prepared to attack me already when I haven't proved to be a threat?"

Amaya could easily see what was going on. She picked up Aya. Having been with Ryuu for so long, she could tell when he was angry, and he was now. When Ryuu was angry, it was not very good idea to pick a fight with him. "Guys, come on," she called to her Pokemon urgently. Momo and Yoru's bickering suddenly seemed insignificant. They bounded alongside their trainer, followed by Yuki and Kiya.

Soon, Amaya arrived to the scene. There was a boy, the Charizard, an Absol, and an Arcanine. She arched an eyebrow at the boy and his Pokemon. "Do you want to battle?" she asked in confusion. The Charizard looked about ready to attack Ryuu, and the Absol had defensively ran in front of his teammate.

charizard just looked away, not really interested anymore. "opening your mouth is proving to be a threat." he muttered looking back at his trainer. i shook my head and returned charizard. "honestly, starting fights is not the way to go." i muttered, glaring at the pokeball now holding charizard. i put him back in my bag, and looked at the girl for a moment, before chuckling. "me? battle your pathetic pokemon. no thanks kid. I've got better stuff to do." i said, turning around and walking away, arcanine followed while absol looked back at the girl's pokemon. "see ya" he said towards the dragonite in particular. he walked away, he ran after his trainer and arcanine, looking back only once to grin and walk off. i was still mad about charizard causing a little trouble, but getting that battle challenge made me just a little more angry. i considered taking her challenge, and letting charizard take down that dragonite, but... i had a feeling that we'd meet again.

Amaya huffed. "They aren't pathetic!" she called toward the distance, although the boy had already walked away. Ryuu floated down toward his trainer, landing in front of her. Amaya sighed. "Honestly, what was that all about? One minute they look like their about to attack, another minute and their gone." She rubbed Ryuu's snout. "If I ever see him again, for sure we're battling. I'll show him how strong you guys are!" she decided, suddenly cheerful and determined.

Kiya sweatdropped, looking at Amaya. It was amazing how fast the girl's mood could change as soon as she thought about battling. She tugged on Amaya's sleeve, urging her to go on. "Okay, Kiya, we'll start moving," Amaya reassured the Zangoose. She returned Momo, Aya, Yoru, Yuki, and Ryuu. "Let's go," Amaya told Kiya with a smile. They began to walk back to the field. When they arrived, Amaya picked up her things and they began walking toward a path just ahead. I wonder where this path leads off to, Amaya thought.

As they walked down the path, Amaya seemed to remember their encounter with the trainer and his Pokemon. "He even called me a kid! I'm pretty sure we were about the same age," she fumed. Kiya rolled her eyes. I agree with him, the way your acting, the Zangoose thought. "And there is nothing better to do than battle. I should have let Ryuu attack before they left. Then they wouldn't have any choice but to battle." The trainer's cheek puffed out in annoyance. "Let's see.." she thought, looking down at her map. "Oh, we are heading toward Rippledrop Town. That's bad.. I don't have a hat or an umbrella. Oh well."

Lauren watched as another trainer walked by. "I hope your nicer than that other trainer, he was weird." She said. She stepped over to her, and peered at her map. "You lost? You look lost." She said. Laurel's ball rumbled. "Do you have any low level pokemon? Laurel my Liepard is a little anxious the battle, and she needs some training."
