She is pacing back and forth, hands clasped behind her back, when the entrance opens. Looking up, she watches as two figures enter. Pressing a button on the wall, the entrance closer and she comes over. Smiling at Marissa, she speaks. "You look tired and thirsty.. would you like some water? Here, sit down.. the name's Kylane.", she says, holding out a water bottle now. Because her mind was racing, her speech was two times faster. She looks up at Aran and smiles brightly. "Saved the day twice in the last couple hours.. look at you my hero.",s he says, teasing softly and continuing to pace.

Aran smiled at Kylane's comments, wrapping an arm around her and kissing her gently to stop her pacing for a moment. "You should relax. Just a little. The world won't explode if you sit down for a minute." he said, his psychedelic eyes full of warmth.

Marissa

"Some water might be nice," I say to the new girl. I feel a pang of jealousy as Aran puts an arm over her and kisses her. I shrug it off and decide to break the awkward silence. "I'm Marissa," I say.

Kylane
She stops, calming as he kisses her. Pulling back, she looks up into his eyes and smiles. "Are you sure about that?", she says softly, joking of course. then, looking over at the new girl, she nods, extending her hand. "Pleasure to meet you.", she says, handing her the water bottle with her other hand.

Marissa

I smile and shake her hand first, then take the water, and take sip after sip after sip, until it was gone. "Thank you," I say to the girl.

Nyra stepped away from the wall and rubbed her back, she slipped her knife back into her belt. Kinkaide wasn't acting like she wanted to kill her. "Fine, I think....it was the boy from district 9, I remembered his name when you mentioned it. I met him shortly after the games began....I thought I had to win to get out of this arena so I killed him, alright!" she said, watching Kinkaide carefully.

Kinkaide backed up, putting a hand to her temple like she had a headache. "Ok, ok. Just-" she had her back to Nyra now. She spoke as she removed her hand from her head. "Just don't tell Scarlet ok?" She turned around and looked at Nyra. "Don't tell her, she doesn't need to know. For all she knows it was just some random person in the arena who's dead now. Ok?"
(Btw, don't they need to remove their trackers so they're not found?)

Nyra just nodded, Kinkaide at least wasn't going to kill her. The way she said not to tell Scarlet though....maybe the two had something going on? Anyhow Nyra was not about to tell Scarlet.

Kinkaide pressed the button and stalked back into the room, with barely a glance at Marissa, disregarding Scarlet completely. She stood in the back stoically, arms crossed against her chest.

(She kind of feels responsible and feels like Scarlet muht blame her if she finds out Nyra killed them. Either that or scarlet will attack Nyra. Reasoning wxplained.)

(That's a good point. Guys, we should do something to get rid of the trackers. I feel like brutally cutting them out isn't a good option. Though Cearul would be happy to if we do that. )

Earlier I posted something about Kylane may or may not have hacked into the tracker system, so the capitol should think them all dead.. but for drama purposes, we could say that the effects wear off and Cearul does cut them out? Or some magnet can be passed over their arms and revers the field, causing them to break...?//
