Sorotrix suddenly collapsed to the ground, shadows surrounding him and swirling around his form.

Akuma looked at sorotrix his eyes narrowed as he opened his wings and quickly got sorotrix off the ground and into his arms as he then quickly took flight keeping any and all forms of shadow's away from sorotrix. "Your not touching my kid again!" he snarled.

The shadows chased after them, and soon caught up. Sorotrix gave a shout of pain when the shadows managed to touch the skin on his wrist
"Father," he moaned weakly, the shadows burning and freezing at the same time, somehow. It left gory cuts on his wrist.

Akuma snarled as he flew higher untell it was impossible for a shadow to follow and he held sorotrix close to him. "I'm here." he mumbled but his right eye had somewhat changed and he was breathing heavy for no reason.

Sorotrix was breathing heavily as well from the pain and the altitude. The shadows regained and raced upwards after a few long moments. They came I. Contact with Sorotrix's shoulder, and he screamed in agony. His eyes flashed red fir a moment before the shadows were forced to retreat downward, the height restraining them slightly.

Akuma's breathing was getting heavier and his right eye was a amber yellow. He tried to keep himself up he soon could barely even stay consious his vision fading rapidly as h soon closed his eyes and began to plumeet to the ground but he wrapped his wings around th two of them to try and keep them both safe but h hit the ground with an extremely heavy and sickly thud a crimson liquid scaping akuma's mouth when he hit the ground.

Sorotrix was alarmingly still in his father's arms.

"Akuma! Sorotrix!" Kaithrone snapped, flying towards them. Sorotrix's body was rigid.

Akuma could barely catch his breathe. He was breathing extreme heavy as he didn't unfold his wings trying to protect sorotrix even thought the crimson red liquid was coming out of his mouth.

"F-Father..." Sorotrix croaked. The shadows surged forwards, and the eight year old screamed in pain once again.

Akuma laid there unable to move or help. 'I can't move. I can't help him! Whats wrong with me! Why do I feel like this! Why am I in so much pain?!' he thought as something began to force his wings open.
