[Lady Mekka]

"Over there. The girl, Victoria! She's here!" Ana was whispering, her fist clenching a bit tighter around Jared's forearm while she pointed with the other.

"Maybe we just say 'We're ready?'" Victoria suggested, looking at the ceiling.

[ika;]

Jared hissed in a breath, looking where Ana was pointing but seeing nothing at all. "Okay." He said, trusting her even though he couldn't see her himself. "What's she doing?"

Riley smiled agreeably. "Okay. We're ready." He said, looking around expectantly for some kind of white light ready to sweep them up together. Silence.

[Lady Mekka]

"Looking at the ceiling." Ana said, a bit confused.

"We're ready?" Victoria said, looking at the ceiling harder, as if her gaze could make things work out right. Suddenly, she heard Lawrence's voice.
"So you thought you could leave so soon, did you?" he said, walking up the stairs behind Victoria, making her jump and spin around.

Raising an eyebrow curiously, Jared rubbed his eyes. Still nothing. "What now?"

Riley let out a furious hiss. Changing into his orb form and back to the snarling wolf, he peeled back his lips to expose a set of ivory canines. Not that they'd be of any use.

[Lady Mekka]

"It's been a long time." Lawrence said, his hair smoothed back, wearing a three piece black suit. "And it seems that death really becomes you, old chap." He looked down at Riley with a smirk.
"I always thought you were a dog, but it turns out you were just a wolf." Victoria looked with anger at the man she had been betrothed to.
"Don't you dare talk to Riley that way." she said, glaring at him.

"Another ghost just joined them. It looks like Victoria doesn't like what he just said, she's starting to yell at him." Ana said, watching the blurry scene with fascination.

Jared stepped forwards, craning for a better view.

Riley grinned. "Oh jolly good old chap. Bravo with such impertinant comments. Very dexturously astute of you." Mocking Lawrence, he stepped closer to Victoria. "Is it not positively remarkable to see how Victoria is repulsed by you even in the afterlife?" He wagged his tail slowly, teasing him as much as he dared.

Lawrence's nostrils flared as he fought back the retort.
"At any rate, we're all trapped here." he said, looking at the two of them with malcontent. "All because you," he pointed at Riley, "had to get between Victoria and me. None of this would have happened if you had known your place." Victoria glared even harder.
"Well, I'm not the one who killed me, now was I?" she retorted back, pointing to the stab wounds and the markings on her neck where he had strangled her.

"They're arguing. It seems that the wolf and Victoria are against the guy." Ana said, narrating the events for Jared's sake.

"The wolf?" Jared breathed, this fact only now becoming known to him.

Riley grimaced. "Well don't expect me to help you get out. And don't you mean because you had to get between Victoria and me?" He tilted his head to one side with faked innocence. "At any rate, I'm not going to stand here arguing with you- especially you. Me and Victoria have a big white light to walk through, and maybe I can get my human body back." Riley gazed calmly at the man that had murdered his lover.

Ana blushed.
"Oops, did I forget to mention that earlier? Well, one of them is a wolf." She smiled sheepishly, but kept her eyes on the group in front of her.

"In case you didn't get what I was saying, dogbrain, we can't cross over until we all make amends." Lawrence said, looking exasperated. Victoria's jaw dropped.
"I have to forgive you for killing me?" she said, aghast. "There is no way that will ever happen!"

Jared grinned. "Right. Well, my life couldn't get anymore strange, so I totally accept that." He murmured, still trying to keep his voice down.

Riley flinched dramatically. "Ooh ouch. Does that mean I have to forgive you for killing Victoria, because if I do, I may as well give up now." He sighed heavily, though his words were sarcastic- their meanings were true. He didn't think he could ever do that.
