( Haha, she's not really dead. She just did that so the can swap out her souls to repair her body so she wouldn't feel pain. If she smashed the orb on her collar, though, then she'd be dead for good. Just have Alice freak out or something. .3.)

"Hey, Alice?" Artorius began as he nudged the door open with his foot, holding some kind of odd object in his arms(who knows where he found it,) "Does this count as shar-OHMYGOD!" he exclaimed, dropping said object. He luckily just missed Rendan's head. Not like it would have mattered now, but..
He trembled and stepped backwards, tripping over something and falling right onto his butt.

Alice stands there for a moment, pale gaze blank. She trembles, knees giving out, allowing herself to drop to the floor, gazing upon the inert form of Rendan before her. Numb, she reaches out to grab the crystal and attempt to get it away from her neck. "Don't just sit there, Arto ... help me out here."

The crystal shattered, the shards disappearing.

Artorius peeked out from behind his hands that he had been using to shield his eyes, looking over at Alice. "Wait! Wait, just, uh," he began, walking over to her and pulling her back away from what he thought was a body. He turned her away from it, refusing to even look at it himself. "Don't look." he said, sure that it wouldn't be too good for a twelve year old to see so much gore. It hadn't been for him, so..
"I'll.." he began, glancing back at Rendan and swallowing, "do..something. Yea, somethin." he said, grinning sheepishly.

Alice pauses, then leans her forehead briefly against Arto's arm. "Thanks," she mumbles, then gets up and leaves the room, sitting down just outside the kitchen door with her knees drawn up to her chest.

Artorius simply nodded. He looked back at Rendan, cringing and stepping back, covering his face for a minute. How was he supposed to deal with this..? Ah, it was better than Alice having to do it. Making sure she WAS dead, he opened a small crack between his fingers, peeking through it long enough to poke Rendan in the rib with his foot.

Rendan hissed at him and grabbed his foot, looking like something out of a nightmare.

Artorius shrieked so high pitched it literally sounded like something that would come from the throat of a woman, falling backwards once again and landing on his rear-end with a loud thud. He began kicking around wildly, screaming nonsense like "PLEASEDONTEATMYFLESH" all the while. He was also kicking Rendan as hard as he could in the side.
