Callie nodded slowly. "Yeah, true," she conceded. "But, I mean, don't you think that if we do kill them then the other bad guys will just come running after us and hurt us even further, rather than us doing that to them?" She sighed, frustrated with Nero; he made sense, but sometimes he could just be so wrong! She snickered as Shark tumbled to the ground.
"Haha, nice, Shark!" She smiled, and then remembered that she had the little heavy Topaz on her back; she twisted around to wake her up. "Topaz!" she hissed. "Wake up! We're almost there!" She watched as the rat jolted bolt upright, startled, blinking sleep out of her eyes.
Topaz groaned, startled now that Callie had woken her up. "Uh... what?" she murmured.
"We're almost there, so hurry up and get awake already!" Callie told her.
"Umm... well, okay. But, there's really no need to be so rude, you know!" Topaz added, twisting around to wash her back quickly, even as she dug her claws yet again into Callie's back. Callie let out a loud growl, clearly making her anger known.
"Don't!" she hissed.
"Well, sorry." Topaz rolled her eyes, and sighed. Cats could be just so pushy sometimes!
