Mirage smiled a shiver of pleasure ran down her spine her wings shuddered slightly normally her wings wouldnt have moved but she had angel like wings and it was new to her but she ignored it wrapping her legs around his waist

Marcus looked Lexi "is there some thing you need to tell me??"

Lexi nodded. Her eyes filled with tears and then she closed them. Lexi leaned against the counter and said, "Its about your sister. She had a chance at being human... and she gave it up". Lexi's hand clenched at the edge of the counter.

Lexi looked at him and said, "Aren't you disappointed?". She looked angry, and sad. Lexi loked at him and then said, "If I had any chance of being human, I would've taken it. Its not fair". She looked away, "I can't become human, it's not possible. I... I just wish that she would've taken that opportunity"

Marcus hissed "it was her choice and the reason she didnt want to is because she knew she wouldnt get to be near us anymore half the time we are off flying some were and were would that leave her!? and i will tell you right now if you had become human.... Damon wouldnt be able to go any were near you!"

Lexi looked at him, getting angry. "Im not mad at her, Marcus, Im mad that she made that decision! Living a normal, mortal life would be the greatest thing anyone could ever ask for and if you haven't noticed, our life isn't normal!". She took a deep breath and then sighed, trying to control herself. She looked at him and then said, "I know I could never become human, and if I somehow did Damon couldn't be near me. But Jared would stay with Mirage! They could have a chance at being normal! If there was a way out of this life, out of the angel and demon war, that would be it. Being normal would get you out of this life".

Marcus looked at her "It wouldnt matter if she had become human.... She wouldnt be able to deal with what would come any way and since you know nothing of what happened when we died you shouldnt tell her it was a bad decision i mean at least you are a angel! being a human for her would have been worse then being a slave to a demon !"

"I didn't plan on telling her. I could never do that to Mirage", Lexi said. She looked at Marcus and said, "I don't mean to sound angry or selfish, but getting out of the war has been a dream of mine for forever. It just hurts me to see someone have a chance at getting out, and not taking it". Lexi walked outside and sat down. She understood Marcus' point, but she was still a little upset.

Jared smiled and Mirage and kissed her. He stood up and put some clothes on. "We really should tell your brother about this", he said.

Mirage sat up and nodded she got dressed quickly she stretched and looked at Jared

Marcus looked around he walked outside and down the steps his face blank he walked towards Miage and Jared house

Jinx walked through the side gate of Jared and Mirage's house. She had managed to escape from the fence and sneak off to their house. Jinx saw Jared inside the house and managed to open the door and run over to him.

Jared smiled and picked up Jinx. "Hey girl", he said as she gave him a lick on the face.
