Nikita couldn't decide between being upset about him helping or relieved...she was relieved that he didn't shoot her or whatever he was planning to do...but it irritated her that she had needed the help. She has survived for the entire two years of the apocalypse without that kind of help before...she could definitely take care of herself but...it did make her angry that she wasn't the one to put a bullet in his brain. She didn't fight the hug though, it was nice to have someone care like that...she was beginning to doubt his reasons for being so passionate about killing the guy...and hugging her for that matter. She wanted to say thank you...but she didn't think those words would come out of her mouth without great effort.

Clark let go of the embrace and looked in her eyes "what did he do to you? Did he hurt you?" he asked franticly...

Nikita backed up and looked at him, "I was fine! I didn't need your help...I can take care of myself!" she picked up her gun and looked away, he could get himself killed worrying about her...the farther away he stays the better for him. 'what am I supposed to do??' she wasn't going to live happily ever after with anyone and that was that...it wasn't realistic and she wasn't about to cry over it. She might have been interested in love before all of this happened, but it was stupid to think that things could ever be the way they were. "we would get back to the house...James is there alone." she quickly changed the subject and started to walk away! it was probably one of the hardest things she has had to do since this all started.

Clark was confident in what he did was right. But yet he said nothing...

"We still have one man back there, John has him. And I believe he is yours to end." Clark responded. Clark then walked out to John, knowing Niki would follow and he knelt by the wounded bandit, who was quickly loosing blood. "Now here is the deal sir. Karma is a b****. We all know that, but for you, Karma is going to end your life. I am a former military man and you just killed a US Army pilot, and can you imagine what I would want to do to you right now? But its not up to me, it is up to her." he said as he pointed to Niki. "'Personally I would leave you to die slowly or get mauled by biters. but like I said, not my choice." he added

Nikita walked up to him and cocked her head...he seemed to be suffering quite a bit...ending his life now might be a bit to kind for her taste. She squated a bit and looked at him with an unreadable stare, they would need to find out where his camp was and if there where any more of them "I'm going to offer you a deal...if you tell us whatever we want to know about your people then I will be merciful and put a bullet in your head...if not then we are going to ask...a little less nicely." She stood up and glanced at Clark briefly, she felt bad for what she had said...but she could say thank you later or whatever. They needed to get this threat under control.

"And I will do nothing to stop her so don't look at me." clark said after the bandit looked at him as for sympathy. He knelt down and pulled out his second combat tomahawk and held it to his face "These are aaaaawfuly sharp also. I just sharpened them." he added

Nikita smirked and looked up a bit like she was thinking, "I think that you refusing to talk might benefit us more than if you go ahead and talk...I could use a bit of knife practice." She stopped smiling in any way and eyed the wound in his leg, the first thing she was going to do was rip that tomahawk out of his knee cap...slowly. The more serious she appeared the better in her mind...but an occasional smirk or two might actually help make him nervous as well. They didn't really need help with it when they have their weapons and he is already in pain. "I have an idea...you talk now and we don't drag you back to our camp by your hair for further...less comfortable conversation." It was starting to get dark...they needed to continue this there or finish it here, they couldn't stay past dark with no light.

Kat sighed, happy that everyone was gone. She walked back into the main room, and after surveying to make sure no one was there, she began grabbing cans and putting as many as she could in her backpack. She then stood up and looked out of the window, before grabbing her stuff and sneaking out of a broken window on the side. She quickly opened the car door, and froze when she heard clicking. "Oh my god." She breathed, trying to get into the car without sound.
