Kyla looked at Aubrey and looked away, then climbed her own tree and laid in its branches. She faced away from them both, tightening the blanket Xavier gave to her around herself, looking into the darkness. Her thoughts wandered, her anger boiled; why who cares what that dumb girl does anyway. She stiffened as if she would get scolded until she remembered she was in thought -- who cared what that dumb girl does anyway. She did. She couldn't let innocent people get killed -- wounded or worse fed to the walkers. She shuddered; Kyla needed a plan.

Jayla looked at the two, noting how Clark seemed... protective of Nikita. She guessed, that since she had agreed to stay behind, she wasn't as rejecting to Clark as she had been to James. "Should we head there?" She was already walking down the drive. Jayla could already smell the acrid smoke. It was starting to blow in this direction, gently.

Nikita walked forward with her eyes on the knife in her hand, she had one end of it gently against the tip of her finger with the handle against her palm. She smirked and put it in her boot rather than the holster...she had enough knives where she could reach them quickly, it was wise to keep one there. After a while of silent walking she looked back at them and spoke, "So you think that it is a plane or helicopter?"

Clark reacted to Nikita's expression. "no nonono I didn't mean that I just..." he paused as he rifled through the numerous reasons he wanted her to be the sniper over-watch, "I just think you have a good sense of awareness, and that is what we need for a good sharpshooter. "I will give you the signal to fire on what guy. I will put my hand up in a fist and point to the guy you need to take out. But niki... we might be even feet from these guys, but I trust that you are a good shot and wont hit us." he said with a sarcastic smile jokingly

Nikita nodded her head, "if I shoot anyone on accident it will be you" she smirked a bit so he knew that she was only joking, the smoke was getting thicker the closer they got. Visibility was not the best...as long as she stayed low to the ground when shooting she figured that everything would be perfectly fine. She hasn't survived this long without picking up a few things...not to mention improving her aim. Aubrey had once been the official sharp shooter of the group when they weren't using her as a spy...she shook the thought from her head and focused on the task ahead.

(timeskip to site, btw, plane/heli smoke are usualy a straight narrow pillar of smoke)

Clark stayed right beside John, and he crouched in the bushes right before the broken concrete parking lot. It was a helicopter, the tail burning as fuel dripped down it. And sure enough, bandits. There were three, one kneeling beside something with a pistol. And the other two standing up, obviously interested in whatever the kneeling man was doing. But as the kneeling man stood up, Clark saw what the man was doing was kneeling by a wounded pilot of the copter, a US Military pilot that had his legs crushed by the crash, his mouth tied shut by a bandana and he was obviously trying to scream from the pain. But the kneeling bandit stood up, and without even hesitating, he put a bullet in the pilots head.

Clark shot a look over to John and made a hand signal that he was ready to move in. He called into the radio to Niki also asking if she was in position because they were going to try and "reason" with these guys, and wait for Niki's shot on the first man to be their signal to fight. The image of the man shooting the pilot and the shot echoing across the parking lot stuck in his head, and he concluded that he wanted to only immobilize him and wound him so he could get a point across for killing a soldier.

(XD I know...I wasn't sure if that was what we were doing...I thought that we had changed it to a trap they set...never mind about the visibility thing then. )

Nikita watched as John followed in behind Clark, she was hiding on the hill surrounded by tall dry grass...it was as good a spot as any. "You give the signal and I'll shoot. In other words...h*** yeah!" She smirked when she said it and got down in the grass with only the gun showing as she kept her aim on the one that had pulled the trigger...if this got to a firefight then he would be the first to go...at least that is what she hoped. The only thing in this world she hated more than biters...bandits.

They has their backs turned toward the helicopter and there were three, Niki takes one, John takes the other and Clark was planning on taking the shooter. Clark kept the lowest profile he could while walking and he, alongside john, He had done many stealth missions with the military, and he was taught howto handle armed and ignorant assailants.

Clark approached, knowing john was right behind him but didnt want to look. And they were about 10 feet from them when Clark made a hand motion to stay down and quiet. Right there, in the open parking lot, Clark aimed his assault rifle at them. "DO NOT MOVE I SWEAR I WILL BLOW ALL OF YOUR HEADS OFF." he demanded.

At the sound of the mysterious man voice they all turned around and two drew pistols, as one held an axe. They all tried to make an intimidating stance due to chances are, the two men saw them shoot the pilot. "Who Are you?!" the kneeling man asked.

Clark looked at John and waited for his facial expression cue to call in Niki's shot.

John looked at him and briefly raised both eye brows, ,blow their heads off Nikita...' he held his gun to the strangers and waited for Clark to cue the shot...this had better not go bad. Sure, they had weapons..,but other than making them pay he didn't see a reason to risk anymore lives. He didn't doubt Niki or Clark...but he was unsure of how good they could shoot...they could be as bad of a shot as he was when this all started...or as good as he hoped that Nikita was about to be.
