"Thanks." She smiled at Kyla. However weird that it was, she actually preferred herbs and things over commercial painkillers. She unscrewed the lid and stuck two of her fingers in, then rubbed what she had scooped up onto the wound. There was a bit of relief almost immediately, the pain wasn't completely gone, but it did lessen it a little. She wiped her fingers off and re-screwed the lid, then handed back to Kyla and put on a bandage to keep the herbs from being rubbed off. Then she stood and pulled the flannel shirt back over her tank top, leaving it unbuttoned for now. Xaviar sighed and pulled herself up into the tree, settling rather comfortably across several branches with her blanket.
When Aubrey arrived back, Xaviar was still l in her tree, but with her rifle watching the perimeter. A small smile formed on her face when she saw the animals-- that meant a hot dinner. She grabbed a lighter from her bag and slid down from her tree, landing with a thud beside her. She pulled out her hunting knife, then grabbed the animals and sat down to clean them. She used to hunt quite a lot, so it only took her around five minutes to clean the two.
