Cody relaxed in the shadows, still posed to spring, then leaped into the air aiming for the human.

Jewel sighed, a guilty look in her eyes.

Are you sure? Josh sent back, stopping, worried that she might just end up getting herself hurt by trying to trick Amethyst.

Yeah! I lived with her, after all; she's pretty easy to trick. Rosa sent to Josh, unknowingly walking towards him while walking a different path than that she had ran, not knowing that Amethyst was now following her.

"We should head back to Chris's so we can get him to look at your wound," Jewel suggested, tilting her head slightly as she looked over the gash.


They've threatened and killed shifters and half bloods, Cody answered, keeping pace with her as he stalked closer.
