"Stay out of it," Chris muttered to the two before looking at Cody. "There are plenty of rooms, just pick another. But I won't have you causing harm to the girl or any of the others here." his voice was calm but it had a deadly edge to it.

"Unbelievable!" Cody's voice rose as he glared, "a few weeks ago you would have killed a shifter kid for the fun of it, you've went soft!"

Seth sighed before he said "No, there is just other stuff on his mind." He glanced at Chris knowing that the day that his first love died on was coming up.

James watched silently, studying them coldly, the predatory gleam still in his eyes.

Cody was still annoyed, then looked back at James, glaring{I needies something for him to say to set off James :^p}

Chris sighed quietly, Cody's comment stung but he should have been prepared for it.

Seth sighed as he watched before he thought to Chris You know whats coming up that has to deal with our past, right?

Of course, how could I forget, Chris sent back, keeping his eyes on James and Cody.

I know Seth sighed. Though Chris had dated her, she had still been good friends with Seth.

"He didn't go soft," Twi snapped at Cody. "He's got a soul, you dolt," she snapped again, snarling. Fire burned in her grey-blue eyes and a disgusted sneer was plain on her face.
