"Because we were helping our own mother with her illness," Eve said, looking at her twin brother and Zylia. "The landlord sucked every single penny we paid for our house and cause a huge poverty. Heck, he even abused his own family and keep the wealth to himself! I heard rumors that he chopped his newborn daughter's arm and forced his wife to eat it as stew."

"Our hearts sank when we heard her crying. So we prayed for a savior to come. He did, and that savior is our godly father Zeus," Adam continued, despite having a gut wrenching feeling in his stomach. "He killed the landlord and saved the family, as well as the baby. At that moment, he sent us here."
