Perry raised an eyebrow "It may have got slightly distorted through all the Hermes' kids and other people. Why don't you tell me everything?" She asked.

I cleared my throat awkwardly, "Okay... Well, when I first got here I wanted to determine which weapon worked best for me. I tried swords and spears. I tried everything but archery. Coral decided to teach me hunting... I shot the arrow, missed and it bounced of a rock and went right in my foot." I mumbled, "I literally shot myself in the foot...". I was such an idiot...

Perry nodded and laughed "Oh, I see. Someone said something about a rock monster shooting an arrow at you. It's quite believable in the demigod world but I didn't believe it, of course." She looked at his foot again "And is it healed completely now?"

I laughed, "Yes, apart from a gnarly scar." I murmured, "I think that's five scars and counting now.".

Perry laughed "Wow, you count your scars?" She questioned. Knowing how many scars people in camp seemed to get, counting them didn't seem like the most sensible thing to do.

"Actually surprisingly only the foot one is from camp... I managed to get all the rest at home. I assume ill have a lot more after the quest." I chuckled. I touched the scar on my cheek for a moment and the let my hand fall again.

Herrick knew he'd failed at sarcasim but appreciated the fact that she had caught it. He then nodded at her words.

Melinoe went quiet for a short while before snapping out of it. Hearing Jacob speak, she turned to look at him. "Huh?" She said. The goddess began to back away into the trees allowing the daughter of Athena to think about her offer.

Perry laughed "Really? I didn't know you were that clumsy!" She exclaimed. "And I suppose we'll all have several scars after the quest." She added. "Where's that one from?" She asked, looking at Chance's hand covering his cheek.

Jacob looked at Melinoe again and sighed. "Is she trying to recruit you? Artemis,I mean. Are you going to accept the offer?" He asked quickly.
