I Crept Through The Forest Unseen. Lady Artemis Had Sent Me To Find Females Worthy Of Joining The Hunt. I Hid Behind a Tree, My Brunette, Crimson Tipped Hair In a Circular Braid On Top Of My Head. Artemis Had Appointed Me Leader Of The Hunt Next To Her, Considering I was Her Oldest And Wisest At The Moment. All I Saw Was a Boy Shooting At Things With His Bow. I Watched Intently, But Then Remembered My Oath To Lady Artemis. I Would Never Take an Interest In Boys. I Had Sworn That To Her, And I Would Keep That Promise. I Shot An Arrow Past Him, Purposely Missing. It Whizzed Past His Head, About An Inch Away. "What Are You Doing Out Here?" I Snapped, Authority In My Voice.

I Walked Around Camp, Making Sure My Face Was Hidden. I Didn't Like Attention, And Being a Child Of One Of The Big Three Didn't Help. I Pushed My Auburn Hair Behind My Ear, Looking Down At My Feet. Sitting Down On The Dock, I Dipped My Bare Feet Into The Water. When I Pulled Them Out They Were Completely Dry. Sliding Into The Water I Sat On The Bottom, Fiddling With My Bracelet. The Water Was Murky, But I Could See Perfectly, And I Sighed. Most Of The Gods And Goddesses Wanted Me Dead, Zeus, Hera, Ares, Hades... Even The Minor Gods and Goddesses. It's Hard To Know That People Would Want You Dead, Which Is Why I Sit At The Bottom Of The Lake For About An Hour Every Day, Just Thinking About My Life.

Nathan watched an arrow whiz by. He jumped and turned around, surprised. "Well hello to you" he said. "Its against the law to shoot arrows at trees now?" He said, raising his eyebrow. He was tall with brown hair and brown eyes that occasionally changed color.
