Mika tried to stop, pulling away abruptly, her mouth dripping blood. She wiped her mouth with her free hand, the other holding the boys wrist still in case he tried to run, because she knew the others might need blood too.

Noah began to feel light headed, more tired than he had before. He was confused, and when she let him go he whimpered and still tried to pull away, his wrist bleeding now. But he was weaker now too, and needed rest. But he wouldn't have any, resting when surrounded by vampires was near impossible for a young human.

Mika looked kindly at the boy. "He needs food, and rest," she said, lifting him up into his arms with ease. She didnt want to be mean to him, but without him they could starve, and keeping him healthy so they could feed was crucial. She tore off a strip of her shirt, using it as a bandage and wrapping it around his wrist.

He grinned and sucked the blood that was on his arm so he wouldn't take any more blood from him in his body before she used a bandage for the wrist. He nodded in agreement, licking the blood off his face so there was no trace of it.

Noah didn't understand what they wanted from him or why they were basically keeping him as their prisoner. He couldn't wriggle his wrists free from their bindings. He was frightened, and trembled in fear. His sightless eyes closed tightly as he curled up in a ball, still being held by Mika.

Mika held him closer, she felt really bad, but they needed him. "He needs to be fed and rested," she said, looking around for something a human could eat. "What do humans eat?" she asked, looking at the two vampires to see if they really knew.
