Oh, dear. This wasn't very nice.
In my head red sirens blared and little thoughts scurried around like panicked ants, but my outward face showed nothing but bewilderment and anger. "What're you even TALKING about?!" I demanded, furrowing my eyebrows and clenching my teeth."I may be a pretty nifty liar, but why in the freaking world would I pretend to be a human? And what's up with calling me a wolf?! At this point you're just harrassing me, and I have full rights to contact the police! And I'm not afraid to, if you don't get out of my way," I snarled savagely, raising a fist to smash into his face- until he summoned his staff, and I backed away in a hurry. Stay in character stay in character stay in character!
"What are you doing?!" I shrieked, an octave too high, before I pushed off my right foot, spinning simultaneously and bolting down the sidewalk away from him.

Loki sighed and put the staff away. It didn't really seem to help, and it would just get in the way if that were the case. He quickly teleported over to the girl with exasperation. He was starting to get tired. Loki ran backwards at the same pace as the girl, just so he could keep an eye on her.

"You know, most people would probably cower and scream in fear if they were in your position." he remarked. "And obviously, one would pretend to be a human if they were trying to hide from someone who knew them in a different form. I should only suspect that my rival would be doing such a thing - they seem capable of it. They actually ran off in this direction, but seem to mysteriously disappear right around where you were at that alley. Surely you must have seen something? That is, of course, if you really aren't the one I'm looking for."

Jax stayed in front of James, her eyes zoning in and out. The teen wasn't used to having a bullet wound in her shoulder or being scraped with tons of bullet wounds. Jax also had a large cut on her wrist, it was partially healed, but she was exhausted and wasn't even supposed to be out of Tony and Pepper's mansion.

Her sister Adrienne records it and her father uses the evidence to get Ian fired. Frost begins to fight back by blackmailing her father. Intrigued by her actions Winston offers her the family fortune but Frost rejects his offer and decides to make her own way in life.[7]

After a period of homelessness, Frost meets and falls in love with a young man named Troy, who agrees to let her live with him. She learns that he owes a large amount of money to a local mobster named Lucien. In order to save Troy's life, Frost agrees to participate in a fake kidnapping scheme in an attempt to extort the remainder of Troy's debt from her father. However, this soon turns into a real kidnapping and Troy is killed while valiantly attempting to save Frost from an enraged Lucien. Using her powers, Frost turns the thugs against one another and then forces the remaining henchman to free her.

Frost takes the ransom money and enrolls in Empire State University.[8] There, she begins to learn about mutants for the first time and meets fellow telepath Astrid Bloom, who becomes her friend and mentor. Frost later learns that Astrid has been secretly manipulating events. Furious, she attacks Astrid telepathically and leaves her comatose. Frost is later invited to the Hellfire Club,[9][10] an underground elite society. Frost discovers the plans of Edward Buckman and Steven Lang to destroy all mutants. Alongside Sebastian Shaw, Lourdes Chantel, and Harry Leland, Frost battles Lang's Sentinels. Frost kills Buckman and the Council of the Chosen, then – along with Shaw – takes control of the Hellfire Club, setting themselves up as Lords Cardinal of the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club.

Logan yawned a bit, picking himself up from the park bench that he had just previously taken a nap on, in the midst of the chaos and the aftermath of some of the events that had occurred. He stood up and threw a glance around the place, there were people everywhere just minding their own for once and walking around in a big mixture of other people. He stretched out his arms a bit before pressing forward down the cold hard cement sidewalk, heading nowhere fast.

Cara shook her head, trying to ward off the drowsiness that would soon overcome her. She adjusted her bag and glanced around, spotting a park just across the street. They won't miss me for a couple of extra minutes. She thought, changing her direction and bolting across the street. Once across, she took in her surroundings, people milling about, talking to each other; some children played on a playground nearby while their parents sat on benches. A homeless man sat by the light post, wrapped in an old, dirty blanket. Cara took a deep breath, "It's good to be back." She muttered, heading towards a tree about twenty feet away. When she arrived, she hooked a hand around one of the lower branches and hauled herself up, climbing a few layers before laying back on a branch and closing her eyes.
