{{ Welcome back, gal! Um... so I couldn't accurately speak for the others, but I think Hawkeye and Natasha are chilling out, and... well, Stormflight and Loki are having at it. Storm switched to her human form and Loki didn't see it, so now he's trying to figure out whether if she's Storm or not Storm. Spoilers- she's actually Storm! So... if you'd like to hop in around us, that's all good ^-^

Cara sighed, running a hand through her long blonde hair as she walked. The young agent had just returned from a mission and was currently running purely on adrenalin and caffeine, "Never in all my days." She muttered, "You could have just sent a stupid intern to pick me up, Fury. But no, I have to walk all the way from the airport to the tower." She sighed again, adjusting her gear and pulling out her phone. She dialed the tower, "Come on, someone pick up the phone." She said as it rang. But no luck and it went to the answering machine, "Hey guys. Ummmm. . . Yeah, I'm back. See you soon, if I don't collapse on the sidewalk. Bye." She hung up and continued walking.

Loki paused. Well, that really wasn't the reaction he had been hoping for. He supposed he could work with it, though. If, by some miracle, this actually was a normal human who was doing Heimdall-knows-what in an alleyway, then he'd have to be careful not to alarm her too much. Right now, Loki was focused on making the wolf the villain. It really wouldn't help if everyone started attacking him.

He continued smiling. "No, it's alright, I'm fine. I'm a..." What was that word? Ah, yes. "a daredevil. I do that kind of stuff all the time. It's actually quite fun. So don't worry, I'm rather sane. I just enjoy the thrill."

Loki's mind went to work. The girl's eyes were blue... The wolf's eyes had been golden, hadn't them? But eye color was easy to change if one was good enough at magic. Unmoving illusions like that were the easiest of things to create. Could a wolf turn into a human? ...Perhaps There were enough odd creatures in the galaxy to make such a thing believable.

Loki was stuck. Something about the person made him suspect she was his target, but he the more he thought about it, the more unsure he became. Dammit, his mind was always making him doubt himself. Perhaps he'd know if she was stubborn enough...

I spun around towards him and scowled at him, perfectly angry on the outside, but biting back fear on the inside. I was a good enough actor though, I could pull through."I suppose that you're quite the blockhead," I snarled. "Daredevils are insane! Wackos! Complete idiots! They threaten their very life with something that ends up having no positive effect for anyone! 'Enjoy the thrill,' tch! In the end, what's in it for you? Nothing! It's almost as bad as smoking," I hissed, wheeling around once more and walking down the sidewalk with a perfect air of anger.
I began musing as I walked, pondering his actions. I had noticed that he had glanced at my eyes. It was a good throw-off for people that were pursuing me but only knew of my wolf form. Even if they knew that I could transform, my general appearance as a human didn't directly hint towards the canine. I had dark brown hair, not black. My eyes were blue, not gold. I was skinny and lithe, and perhaps my canine teeth were a touch larger than normal, but that was the most my body hinted at the transformation it underwent. I hoped, at least.
There was a giveaway though, and that typically ended up being my personality. My reactions to things didn't change from wolf to human, so I would have to try to act differently but make it seem as though I wasn't acting... ech. If I could just convince him that I wasn't who I was and get away from him, I would be far more comfortable, and I could rest. My human form's legs ached horribly, and my brain still felt oddly hot. I needed some sleep at the very least.

(Ugh, I'm so sorry for the incredibly late reply! Life's just been sapping all the inspiration out of me. Seriously. I have no ideas for art, I haven't updated my fanfiction in months, all my ideas for talent show set design were completely ignored, and I can barely come up with anything to write in this dang essay I've got.

Life is sucking pretty bad fro me right now. >.>)

Loki shrugged at the girl's words. "I suppose how sane a person seems is just a matter of perspective," he replied. "Just like how creative or intelligent a person is considered varies from person to person. For example, I personally think you're quite stupid to be hanging out on the streets of New York City. And in an alleyway, no less! What are you, fifteen? Pretty dangerous for a kid."

This ought to rile her up, if the girl really was his canine target. And if he really was wrong (which Loki highly doubted. Him, wrong? Ha!), she'd probably still be pretty upset at being called stupid, which certainly didn't bother him. After all, Loki was the god of mischief. Ticking people off was his specialty, and he loved it.

(Er, so... When I signed up Everest for this RP, I was still a naive little child who had only one poorly-developed character. Now that about half a year has passed, I've made some [super minor] changes to Everest.

The most important one being that she's actually a villain/antihero now.

So...

How's that for a plot twist, huh?

Eh... I really like evil Everest. I mean, I really like the bad guys, now. I'm seriously a fan of so many villains... Loki, Joker, Marvel's Dracula, Taskmaster, Deadpool... To name a few.

Would it be alright with you guys if I made some minor tweaks to Everest in this roleplay?)

Wade scowled as he turned around, "What the hell!?" He growled, his eyes widening as he noticed the cops. "Uh, time to go." He said quickly and grabbed Everest's arm, dragging her away from them. "We don't need cops right now..." He said curtly. "I'm almost surprised they didn't see us 'almost' take that car?" He sighed with relief.

Everest twisted herself out of Wade's grip. "Geez, man, you've got to stop dragging me around everywhere! I've got legs, I'm capable of walking where I please, however I please!" She glanced at the cop cars, which had wailed right past them. "Besides, I don't think those guys are after us."

Everest sighed with exasperation and pulled out her staff, which was hanging in its sheath off her belt. She clicked a button and it opened into her motorcycle, which gave a low hum. She hopped on it and looked back at Wade. "I'm tired of the guy being in the lead, and I don't want to be seen stealing any more cars with you. So you can sit here and wander around for a way to get to the airport, or you can tag along on my bike, like I offered before. Your choice."

She revved the engine and admired the rumbling response it gave back. Everest was ready to go to Stark's Miami house, with or without this costumed maniac.


(I just realized that without my imagination, her staff might be a little difficult to explain. so... Basically, it looks like a double-sided lightsaber. That can turn into a bike because TONY STARK!

Let fiction figure out the rest.)

I glared at him. "Tch. Perhaps. Perspective is pretty important, but in the end how good or bad a person is depends completely on how they affected the world in fact, not in opinion." I took light, careful steps away. Then stopped dead with my teeth clenched. "Excuse me? Pardon me, twit, but you must be new to these parts. It's not that uncommon around here for people to be on the streets, and I happen to need to go somewhere. And it just so happens that that alleyway is a perfect shortcut for my destination," I snarled. "And I, like most New Yorkers, are capable of defending ourselves!"
Rather infuriated, I fought back the electricity threatening to spark from my hair. Thank the gods that there was less electricity in my human body than my wolf's, otherwise I never would have been able to hold it back. But that wasn't going to hold me back from insulting him myself. Glaring at him icily, I spat in his face and wheeled around with a flip of my hair, walking down the sidewalk with my chin up. "And with that, a good day to you!" I said sarcastically.
