Jax landed on one branch, relaxing now that she was in freedom. The teen girl enjoyed the fresh air, unlike the stale air of staying indoors, and how she had a sense of newfound courage and hope since she was now outdoors. However, the shifter girl still had the trackers on her, she wasn't free, probably never would be again, but for now, the joy of being free even for this second was all that she could focus on.

I landed on one of those blasted Midgardian vehicles. The impact made my head pound and I tried not to groan as I slowly gained my bearings. Unless that wolf was metal, I had missed my mark. That certainly didn't improve my mood.

I squeezed my eyes shut momentarily and then stood up, searching for the creature. I spotted it scampering off some distance away, and frowned. It was running? It was really running? intriguing. I doubted it was cowardice that made the wolf attempt it's escape, but whatever its motives were didn't really matter at the moment.

I stood up, swaying a bit, then dusted myself off. How could I possibly catch up to the thing when it was running so fast? Hmm...

I spotted that idiotic man with the red and black mask bickering with the girl I had seen earlier. They were of no importance to me right now. My eyes wandered about them and landed on the open door of the car that they had obviously stolen. Well, that could be useful.

I strolled over casually and spied the key already in the ignition. Quietly, I stepped in and closed the door. If these mortals could figure out such a contraption, then I certainly could, too. Two pedals... I pressed the one on the right and the vehicle roared to life and sped forward. Huh. This was fun!

My paws struck against the pavement, not pausing for an instant. I had to outrun the emergency vehicles and Loki now, I was sure. He didn't necessarily seem to be the type to give up, especially after being humiliated. And I had just tossed him up into the air, and judging by the rather loud metal crunch, he had fallen onto a car. Ow. Glad our places weren't swapped- though I suppose I could have utilized my wings, I mused. I swiveled my head slightly to the right, checking behind me, and saw something that I had a feeling would either give me a laugh or make me cringe every moment of my life in the future- Loki was getting in a car.

For some reason, the thought of a god using a car was extremely humorous.
Now the only issue was the fact that he was in a car.

Now, I had no doubt that I could outrun a car. For a nice little while. Unfortunately, I was affected by things such as hunger, weariness, pain, et cetera. The car, while it could run out of gas and probably wasn't half as agile as I, could go for quite a bit longer.
I let out an angry growl as the car's engine roared and the big hunk of metal lunged forward, moving slightly faster than I was at my normal pace. Let's test him, shall we?
I ran into the middle of a four-way intersection, then spun on my heels and darted to the left, whilst simultaneously sending a harsh blast at one of the black poles holding up the traffic lights. The metal at the bottom twisted and bent, causing the pole to careen and start crashing down with large metallic screeches.
